Lovely meal.

We had a really nice meal here, very good Italian food. The only thing that wasn't great was that it was quite cold inside. We visited in winter and the heating had not been on before opening so it took a long while to warm up. Great staff and traditional Italian food.

We are from Sheffield and visited this restaurant for the first time after our last time 25 years ago. Different owners who are very polite and helpful and excellent food, tasty, and beautifully cooked. It's so nice to be served in a lovely little restaurant rather than the buffet restaurants that are popping up all over the place. Thankyou for a... More

I took my family down to La Gondola and it was amazing. I had never attempted Italian food, so there was always going anxiousness at the first bite. Extremely polite staff were waiting at the door for our arrival as I had pre booked a table for 10 at La Gondola. I had ordered pizza's mainly and the chef sent... More

Went for a pre-concert meal on 27th of April 2015 before visiting City Hall, the young Lady who serviced us was very nice, but that is all we can say about it, the food wasn't great, left the main meal, people on the next table were also unhappy. Maybe just visited on a bad day, but not at all impressed

We went as a party of 5. We were welcomed warmly and menus & drinks came to us quickly. I opted for the salmon and prawns (as did my daughter) which were lovely and fresh. Hubby opted for the whitebait which he said was delicious. Garnish was quite dated but it is an old style Italian. I can't remember what... More

Enjoyed a pre-concert meal here before venturing to the City Hall to see Blue on Easter Sunday. Food was lovely, couldn't fault any of it. Service was quick and accommodated a couple of fussy eaters (me being included). Deco is a little outdated but clean. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone who loves Italian food.

This is a relatively small Italian restaurant in the city centre. It was quiet on the day and time we went. Food came our quickly but there was nothing really special about it, I would say average at best. Service was also OK but nothing special. Would I be back? Probably not in a hurry as there are a lot... More

In the gastronomic desert of Sheffield I ended up in this restaurant. The restaurant is ok, nothing fancy, a classic trattoria you would find in the center of Italy. The starter was disappointing: fried calamari. The fried part was like 2mm thick! Too much! I was scared at that point but the Filetto Rossini was very good! And the grilled... More

Ate here before going to a show at the Lyceum Theatre having walked past many chain restaurants when we wanted food with that home cooked taste - it turned out to be a great choice. It's a small unassuming restaurant with no frills as other reviewers have mentioned - that for me is often a sign off good cooking so... More
