We were on our way to a lee mack comedy show and wanted somewhere for a quick but satisfying meal. Food was excellent - we had the banquet with all you can eat. Crispy duck carved at the table was possibly the best I've had. Service efficient and choice excellent. Highly recommend and will visit next time in Sheffield.

We decided to go for food but the original place we were going to was full. I'd had a look on TA before going out and seen this place. We decided to give it a go! The outside didn't look like much but we expected that from previous reviews. We went upstairs and into the restaurant, it's beautifully decorated. They... More

Missus found this on Trip Advisor this evening, now I've walked down Matilda Street and not thought much of it, but like my nan she would never eat at an Italian restaurant, being Italian herself, so if she does eat at one Gino move aside. So I was pleasantly surprised to seea great mix of chinese and traditional patrons too.... More

Wong Ting is well worth a visit, I highly rate this place! The service was great, as was the food. Piping hot, plenty of choice and everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We all left the restaurant feeling very full....Our bill came to £24 per head after taking into account the open eat as much... More

The first thing you recognise is that Wong Ting is used by Chinese, good start. The food is just marvellous, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

We had the buffet at £16.96 each there was plenty to chose from the dishes are on the small side so order a bit more like there was 3 of us and we had veg spring rolls and got 4 so you would be better ordering 2 portions of some food items service was good.

IF you are looking for proper chinese cooking - this is the place. You can get things you perhaps wouldnt expect - chicken feet for example... We had weekend Dim sum, which was delicious and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

We went to celebrate Fathers day and ordered a variety of dim sum, 3 roasties with rice and house special chow mein. Food was really nice; portion sizes are large (Thai restaurants take note !!) and serice was good although the dishes tend to arrive at varying times. We now eat here frequently and find it consistently good in terms... More

Although my wife and I live in London, we regularly come to Sheffield and invariably visit Wong Ting each time. We choose from the dim sum menu or the Chinese a la carte menu. These are authentic Chinese dishes and as you would expect quite different to the English special offer menu. My wife who is Filipina rates the congee... More

We went here on 14th June 2014 for my father in laws birthday. We haven't had a bad meal in The last 6 years coming here. Out waiter for the evening was 'Richard' and we weren't sure if this was his real name or not. We had the buffet menu and Richard kind,t recommended starters and mains to compliment the... More
