Stopped into Sheffield to meet up with friends so we headed to the Fat Cat for lunch and a few refreshments. This is a classic big city pub with good food and a great selection of real ales. The young lady behind the bar was brilliant. We ordered lunches and a first round of drinks and headed out to the... More

Nice, nice place for a glass or seven, right in the heart of Kelham and just round the corner from The Nichs'.

If you've been in Sheffield for longer than a week you'd have heard of this place; it's one of the few surviving traditional boozers in the city, it's legacy is noted on the wall outside with lines indicating the depth of both the big city floods, and one was back in 1864! It's no surpirse when you get a great... More

This pub is a real pub! Full of real ales and old school decor! The feel of the place is great, and the rhubarb cider is a must! (Tastes great!!). The prices are very cheap - 2 pints of real ale, 1/2 a flavoured cider & a pint of cordial was £7! we stayed for the quiz which was great... More

This is our local, so we're there quite often. Beer selection always good. Cozy but can be cramped on a weekend. Food is very cheap but basic and often a bit over cooked. Have a pork pie and a pint tho and you should be fine!

Spent a nice half an hour in here on a very busy Saturday night. The beer we had was good - particularly the Pale Rider . It was rather cramped because it is so popular - although I noticed there is quite a bit of space outside which would make it easier in warm weather ,but not in February !... More
