Whilst visiting friends in Sheffield. They recommended this pub and it was great. Very cheap super busy on a Tuesday afternoon and yummy pie.

A lovely lively little town pub just like they used to be. Packed out and full of atmosphere. The men loved all the real ales some from the Kelham Island brewery. A really good start to a night out before we went eat in the little Mesters.

Went for lunch yesterday and it was up there with the worst food I have ever had. How can you get Sunday lunch so wrong. Warmed up roast potatoes are just not acceptable, don't know what part of the animal the beef came from but it tasted of plastic. Whole meal was cold, even after waiting over half an hour.... More

Great beer, great environment, and pork pies to die for! Good value pub that although has been around for years, is still as good as ever! My personal favourite pub in Sheffield :)

We visited the Fat Cat while in Sheffield and while the beer was excellent I would like to say that the Sunday Lunch was Value for money at £5. A great pub and well worth a visit when in Sheffield..

Second visit to the Fat Cat and have to say my regard for it remains very high. Popped in at lunchtime and sampled a couple of ales in front of a lovely roaring fire. The beer was very cheap - £2.50 a pint. The home cooked food smelt delicious! The brewery shop up the road is also worth a visit... More

As the designated driver and tee-totaller (I know, never trust anyone who doesn’t drink….)I feel I cannot give the Fat Cat the review it deserves though if my husband and my dad’s reluctance to leave and comments have anything to do with it I feel confident in my second hand assessment on the ale - which they would still be... This is one of those wonderful old fashioned pubs – small and cosy with a great selection of good local beers. The décor has not been changed for years giving it real character. We popped in ‘for one’ and ended up staying for far too many! In my view it beats the nearby Kelham Island The only downside is the... More

Lovely traditional pub with warm and cosy atmosphere. Good beer and cheer. We had a beef Sunday roast, which was decent for a fiver and arrived quickly. My son had the beef pie which was really good and I will have that next time. We will definitely be back and I am so glad that it's my local.
