I think the title say it all really. Excellent beers that constantly change, well priced tasty homemade food, friendly (and helpful) bar staff, and a superb atmosphere. Make a point tvisit when next in Sheffield.

Visited The Fat Cat with my friend on 21/09/14 after visiting Kelham Island museum. I've given the review 3 stars rather than 4 as I don't consider it to be "very good", but feel 3 stars "average" is a bit harsh. It was a pleasant visit, we ate a beef Sunday dinner each, my friend had a couple of glasses... More

I haven't eaten here so can't comment on that. Have visited a few times for a drink with friends - reasonably priced and a good range of ales.

I went with a group of friends for a drink and something to eat. The drink selection is great and good quality, but the food was horrible. I paid £4.50 for a lamb and mint burger which had been defrosted the same day and put in a teacake. There was no mint and no kind of sauces provided. The chips... More

T his place has a great selection of ales and never had a bad point yet. The down side to this is that the place is that popular it can get very full inside, but the little cramp matter is overcome come by the excellent ale s and great atmosphere

Top bar man offering friendly somewhat eccentric service and quality range of ales - A real pub experience. Would definitely return, hopefully to celebrate another Forest victory.

This is an excellent unspoiled traditional pub in The centre of Sheffield. There are two rooms and an excellent selection of local real ales at very cheap prices. A top quality pint of Kelham Island Best Bitter is £1.50 on a Monday and £2.20 otherwise! There is also an imaginative selection of German and European beers on at very good... More

Friendly bar man. Great pub food. The bar man even posed for a picture for us. Situated walking distance from Kelham Island.

I simply love the Fat Cat. It has a cute small bar. Probably the smallest in Sheffield. The place is cozy and you can sit outside. Moreover, the service is quick and great. The prices are also fair and the best of all. The Fat Cat has really a Fat Cat running around sometimes!

I love this place. This was my local for a few years. Great beer and a really unique vibe. Love the garden outside and the mix of people is always fun.
