We had the steak burger and they were pretty poor. The burgers were not made at the restaurant and were obviously bought in. They were thin and dry (when we make our burgers at home they are much better than this). It was very quiet for a Friday with one member of staff waiting the tables, took an age to... More

Took my children and grandchildren for my birthday and house move to Sheffield at the end of august. We were a motley crew but the staff were patient and helpful and the quality of food excellent value. Can't wait for an excuse to visit again!

We went on a Friday night for an early tea. We all had the steak burger, it really is very good. I love it with the blue cheese and skinny fries. We all enjoyed our meal, in the pleasant surroundings of the main restaurant. Service was good, really enjoyed the evening, only minor complaint was that the bread arrived 30... More

The food looks lovely, the meats are delicious. The rest of the food is cold, come on you can do better, the price is very good at £7.95, but that is no excuse for cold food

We ate on Sunday 8 June around 6-30, after the rush of the carvery. Had a nice table in the window. The staff are nice but levels of service need to improve a lot. Drinks take for ever to come, even though it was really quiet. We ordered wine at the same time as the food and it didn't come... More

We had a fantastic meal at the beauchief last night. We were a large group of 16 people celebrating a family birthday. The food was plentiful and delicious! Even though it was a Saturday night the staff were very attentive especially Stacey and Jamie! The fixed price menu was exceptionally good value with plenty of choice, but there was also... More

We dined in a party of 6 here on a Saturday evening recently. The food was really very good and priced about right. Two of the party dined off a fixed price menu, £18.00 for three courses which was exceptional value especially on a Saturday night. We had two issues, firstly the only thing that let the meal down was... More

If you want to go for a long night out with waits of 15 minutes to get a wine list and 20-25 minutes between courses, then this is the place for you. WE went to the restaurant for 8pm and were seated straight away, the restaurant was busy but a lot of people were on starters and mains. We were... More
