Tucked away and always seems a bit disjointed, but that is because the greedy land owners of the Kings Walk are trying to fill the whole arcade full of restaurants for some hair brained reason. And have lost some great clients in the process and retained a 'Burger King' opposite a Jaeger - how random is that. Now forget all... More

As a Italian i feel i have to write a review about this restaurant. The food is edible but not authentic. The pasta is over cooked and drowning in sauce. Not Italian. When i pointed this out to the waiter i was insulted. It's actually run by Greeks trying to make Italian food.

I have been in Reading for 3.5 years and finally got round to visiting. The menu is confused and overpriced with a mix of dishes that you wouldn't usually associate with an Italian e.g. jerk chicken wings. The food was about Ok but not good enough for me to return.

Popped in for a quick solo dinner early on a Tuesday evening, The location's not the best - accessed through a sort of eating mall and situated upstairs with a view over the back door of Debenhams (not as bad as it sounds...). However, the staff were very pleasant - service was attentive without being overly fussy - and the... More

Terrible place. As Italian with great cooking traditions within my family I always have high expectations while going to eat out. At the end, everyone who pays money shipload except t to be fed well. Unfortunately In La Dolce Vita is is just a delusion... First of all shouldn't be called an Mediterranean restaurant. It is a strange mix of... More

I visited for dinner with friends and I was surprised with how great this restaurant is! The staff was friendly and attentive and helped us choose wine and food. We had the antipasto to start with and my mains were greek salad with hallumi and mini greek burgers, both delicious! I had the triple layer Belgian chocolate for dessert and... More

Although this is billed as an Italian restaurant it is actually more Greek. However I love Greek food and this was certainly some of the best I've had. My husband said his monkfish was the best he'd ever tasted and my pan fried calves liver was fantastic. The service was friendly and efficient and we will certainly go there again.
