Wow. Tasty, reasonable and friendly

Perfect combination, great food, great service and a reasonable price tag. Ten of us dined at short notice and were treated like stars. I had the lamb shank with truffle mash - absolutely fantastic. I'll be back soon

Really delicious food, personable staff who are great to chat to, its good to find an independent Italian restaurant that do a decent a la carte menu and regular specials, rather than the usual pizza/pasta. If you're somewhat snobbish about authenticity then maybe not for you but really tasty and inexpensive.

This is consistently my favourite restaurant in Reading, whether for family occasions or business. Choice is superb so everyone is catered for, quality is consistently reliable, and the service is friendly and very professional. The staff seem genuinely pleased whether you order the set menu or a la carte.

Tucked away and always seems a bit disjointed, but that is because the greedy land owners of the Kings Walk are trying to fill the whole arcade full of restaurants for some hair brained reason. And have lost some great clients in the process and retained a 'Burger King' opposite a Jaeger - how random is that. Now forget all... More

As a Italian i feel i have to write a review about this restaurant. The food is edible but not authentic. The pasta is over cooked and drowning in sauce. Not Italian. When i pointed this out to the waiter i was insulted. It's actually run by Greeks trying to make Italian food.

I have been in Reading for 3.5 years and finally got round to visiting. The menu is confused and overpriced with a mix of dishes that you wouldn't usually associate with an Italian e.g. jerk chicken wings. The food was about Ok but not good enough for me to return.

Popped in for a quick solo dinner early on a Tuesday evening, The location's not the best - accessed through a sort of eating mall and situated upstairs with a view over the back door of Debenhams (not as bad as it sounds...). However, the staff were very pleasant - service was attentive without being overly fussy - and the... More

Terrible place. As Italian with great cooking traditions within my family I always have high expectations while going to eat out. At the end, everyone who pays money shipload except t to be fed well. Unfortunately In La Dolce Vita is is just a delusion... First of all shouldn't be called an Mediterranean restaurant. It is a strange mix of... More

I visited for dinner with friends and I was surprised with how great this restaurant is! The staff was friendly and attentive and helped us choose wine and food. We had the antipasto to start with and my mains were greek salad with hallumi and mini greek burgers, both delicious! I had the triple layer Belgian chocolate for dessert and... More
