I was invited by close friends who live close, and I was treated. What a great pub, relaxed and easy service by staff who smiled coupled with quality produce well cooked and with flare. What more would you ever want. Cracking beer selection too. A must stop over if within 30mikes I'd say.

This was the best pub lunch I had in a long time. We went to the Bladebone Inn attracted by their roasts for two, listed on their website. Unfortunately, the choice of dishes in the restaurant was much smaller, and we were told the menus online are sample menus only. After the initial disappointment with the choices on the menu,... Visited for lunch today, had the chateaubriand which was very good but there were very few vegetables served with it and it came with an incredibly small pot of gravy! All in all just ok!

Great English pub experience Nice the whole family. Provides an honest English meal, great for lunch especially. You can't help but not enjoy the casual meal here. It may not be the Michelin star that everyone carve for but good quality for price, and the food is definitely a respectable 4 stars out of 5. Very glad my friends brought... More

I have been to the Blade Bone many times now but this is the first time I have decided to write a review. Don't get me wrong the food has always been good and staff very attentive but its never been special enough for me to jot anything down. Me and my GF went with two friends between Christmas and... We have eaten here twice now and never been disappointed. It's a country pub, not pretentious at all yet the food punches way above it's humble location. The Truffled ham, egg and chips scotch egg is out of this world. Well worth a visit, you wont be dissapointed

This was our first visit to the Bladebone Inn, and we will definitely be back. The staff, particularly the manager, were just so attentive for the entire evening we dined there (we being a party of three), and couldn't have made our time at the Bladebone Inn anymore comfortable and pleasant. The menu was very reasonably priced, and what was... More

Our family of 4 celebrated my son's 18th birthday with dinner at the Blade Bone. As usual the restaurant was busy and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Our waitress and Kiren (owner/manager) took care of us and the food was as good as ever. Our starters - Laphroig salmon, the amazing truffled scotch eggs, and a lovely parsnip soup were... More
