The Spring Inn serves a weekly Sunday roast as well as lunch and supper daily. With a wealth of culinary experience our Chefs have succeeded in sourcing the finest ingredients with preference to local suppliers whilst creating a unique menu. Our team of passionate chefs prepare food that when presented to our visitors delivers returns of delight that makes it evident they are all, without exception, passionate, creative and caring about their cooking and indeed, presentation. Great pub food and super service. Excellent value for money.

We tried this restaurant in its new incarnation. Very pleasantly surprised by a good choice of better than average fare and efficient, yet personal service. The meal was absolutely fine, with no fancy trimmings, and was exactly what we had hoped for. A good wine list allowed us to pick a reasonably... read more

We tried this restaurant in its new incarnation. Very pleasantly surprised by a good choice of better than average fare and efficient, yet personal service. The meal was absolutely fine, with no fancy trimmings, and was exactly what we had hoped for. A good wine list allowed us to pick a reasonably priced red wine which, again, lived up to... More

Our Saturday lunch party of twelve enjoyed our food without exception - service was good - but the only downside was that prices were on the higher side. We decided on mains & desserts to keep overall costs reasonable but we would still return in the future.

We've tried this pub a couple of times in the past, but we can only really justify going out there when my wife has her car in a specialist garage nearby. More's the pity, as it's always been superb but this most recent visit, it was beyond perfect. My wife's car needed attention but it was our anniversary. Hey, this... More

we've been here several times in the past 2 years, and each time by 8pm the noise levels increase to such an extent that normal conversation is impossible. last time we were told that heavy curtains were on order to try to muffle the noise, but... they haven't materialised. its a shame, because the food is always excellent (lamb shanks... As a small group of 4 foodies we have probably eaten in most of the local restaurants over the past 25 years. We know The Spring Inn from it's origin as a pub, then a fish restaurant; now a modern English style restaurant post makeover and to be frank we were not expecting too much. We were completely wrong......we had... More

We chose the Spring Inn for our Christmas family get together, having passed it on our way to Beale Park in the summer of 2014 and sat outside enjoying tea and home made cake and thought it was a lovely place. This was justified following our visit the week before Christmas and we were delighted with the friendly staff, the... More

Valentine's night. could be manic, but no, it was really organised well. Very impressed. The food was excellent, beef wellington was cooked perfectly, everything was good, staff were lovely and I think we have found a great eating place to come back to, lucky me. Oh and the ginger cake that came with the pears, to die for!

Visited the Spring Inn for a friend's Birthday dinner. 14 of us were dining. The whole evening was good. Restaurant is spacious and tables are spread out so your not right on top of your neighbours. Food was really good. Staff were attentive and friendly. When we finished our meal we were not pushed to vacate our table. Will certainly... More

Good atmosphere and spacious together with well presented food made for a pleaseant Sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly and polite offering good alternatives when what was asked for was not available (Honeycomb Ice cream sold out) situation handled well with no fuss.
