Tasty lunch

Turned up at 11.45 am, in the pouring rain! Staff explained that we couldn't order til 12 but happily served teas and coffees. We both had steak and blue cheese sandwiches with fries, absolutely gorgeous and generous portions. Staff were happy to accommodate changes to dishes (no mayo for me... read more

The Spring tends to be our regular 'drop-in' on a Sunday afternoon when we've finished our weekly shop. The food is always superb, the service friendly and attentive, without being intrusive, and when the sun shines there have a great outside space to enjoy lunch while watching a game of cricket across the road. We been on week days too,... More

Have been here many times over the last 30 years. Standards have gone up and down like a yo yo. The new owners seem to have it about right, as it's always very busy. For a lunchtime snack, the calamari can't be beaten, nicely presented with a sweet and sour chili sauce on the side. The smoked salmon is also... More

I nice plays for couples, family meals and family occasions. Convenient location on the A4 and close to the M4. The food was good, a nice selection of wines and the staff were very friendly. As a couple wanting a nice meal and somewhere to relax and talk (without loud music and a noisy environment) it was perfect. Great on... More

I met my friend here for a bite to eat and a chat. When you go in you don't feel that you have been squashed like some places. You can also chat without having to shout over some awful loud back round music either. It has a peaceful atmosphere and very relaxing environment, shame the weather wasn't better I would... More

We had our wedding dinner there for 30 people. They were efficient.the food was awesome. It's gourmet but not at gourmet prices. We sat upstairs which is beautiful. The staff couldn't have done more for us. Am now a frequent visitor. Top stuff

Would certainly recommend the Spring Inn. We booked a company evening out here for approximately 45 employees. The staff could not have been more helpful, particularly Katt and Sam. Feedback from the staff has been very positive saying that the food was delicious and the staff all very friendly.

Table of four booked for 1900hrs. Arrived just before and shown to table, ordered meal by 1905. First choice for roast beef not available so picked the roast pork dinner. Starters arrived ten minutes later, actually the best part of the meal. By 1935 getting concerned about the mains, asked waitress and was told very busy but would be with... More

Was going to meet family at The Cunning Man but my sister had seen review and decided against. Decided to come here instead and glad that we did.
