Recently went for a meal at the newly refurbished Spring Inn. Well worth the wait, as the decor is delightful. We were warmly greeted and well looked after by all the staff. Each of us (there were four of us) chose a different starter and main course, and without exception, all were excellent. Very good prices too. Would certainly recommend... More

Went to the Spring Inn this lunchtime with my 97 year old Mum to celebrate her birthday. We had a lovely time. The food was extremely good and well presented and served by friendly and knowledgable staff. When they found out it was her birthday the desert arrived with a lit candle in it and she felt very special. Will... More

I came here for lunch with my husband and young son. We had always passed by but decided to try it this time and I'm glad we did. The atmosphere is friendly, staff are attentive and the overall decor was nice and comforting. For lunch I had fish and chips, my husband had confit of duck both meals were just... More

The Spring has sadly had a chequered history over the last few years with several owners, however I have just enjoyed an excellent lunch here with friends. A complete makeover has transformed the pub, chic decor, smart indoor/outdoor & roomy eating areas, friendly efficient staff plus very tasty food, served in good time, oh, and a good sized car park.... Lunch today at the Spring Inn was disappointing. I only had a bowl of soup and some bread, but the taste of the soup (sweetcorn and mushroom) was far too sweet and they weren't able to accommodate my request for no added dairy (ie bread was pre-buttered and mars alone added to soup). It was an expensive bowl of soup... More

A weird take on a Mediterranean lamb but it worked! Awesome Eton mess with flavourful berries. The roast garlic and bread was great! We liked everything, awesome food, service and atmosphere

Children treated like real people and not an inconvenience, lovely play area in the beer garden where you can enjoy your food and drink and when the little ones finish still keep an eye on them. Food is lovely too, well... More

We were staying overnight in the area and drove by earlier in the day so decided to try it out for dinner that evening. It was a Tuesday and very very busy! Staff were great, my husband had just had knee surgery and didn't want to climb the stairs, they quickly re-arranged a booking a seated us downstairs. The food... More
