My new favourite place to eat

Popped in for a sunday lunch, expecting pub grub and got more than we bargained for! Great meal, great service, and good value. The atmosphere was welcoming, the decor is very simple and relaxed. Portion sizes were generous and staff were attentive despite it being busy. And as for allergy... read more

Went for Sunday lunch and the service was terrible from the kitchen . Waiting staff were very good. Food was not of good quality was more like 3663 and cold when it eventually arrived. Do not recommend this restaurant at all.

My wife took me here for dinner for my birthday and I could not have been happier. The staff were friendly and engaging from the minute we walked in. The place itself is well fitted out with a rustic modern feel which means whether you are in a three piece suit or jeans and trainers you fit right in. There... More

Had a cheese burger and fries and coleslaw, when I say fries I could count them on one hand, and the cheese on the burger was still hard instead of melted. Not going there again

The Spring Inn was a pleasant surprise. Although the reviews are quite good the overall experience in the restaurant was excellent. With a nice decor, cozy but also spacious and with several tables in two floors. The service was very friendly and good and the food was very good. English classics with a bit of a twist and very good... More

I have been to The Spring Inn twice now and I have not been disappointed. Despite being totally packed out (testament to the place) the staff were helpful and we didn't have to wait long for a table. The staff are very professional and they provide excellent service without being in your way. Nothing is too much trouble and the... More

The Spring Inn has recently been taken over by new owners and we have to say just WOW !!!! These guys know exactly how to run a restaurant / gastro pub. Great atmosphere and decor, loads of space between tables, absolutely brilliant staff and some of the best food we've ever tasted. My partner and I decided on the Sunday... More

Had a highly enjoyable birthday Sunday lunch for 10 people - adults, children and a toddler. Service was outstanding throughout - welcoming, attentive without being overbearing, friendly, well-timed (although the restaurant was busy) and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was fairly-priced and reasonably standard fare. Generous portions but a bit light on the Vitamin C - would be improved with... More

My husband and I fancied a Sunday roast which is normally quite difficult to come by on a Sunday evening. We decided to try the Spring Inn, being one of the few places locally still doing roasts at 6pm. We have both had an amazing meal, me with a nice rare beef and my husband with the steak and ale...
