Description: You will easily find The Spring Inn on the Bath Road just a few minutes...
You will easily find The Spring Inn on the Bath Road just a few minutes drive from Junction 12 of the M4 and close to Reading, Theale and Pangbourne. We are far enough from all that hustle & bustle and you'll know you're in Royal Berkshire countryside! Now re-opened with a new management team and having benefited from interior decoration and outside landscaping, The Spring Inn is at the heart of the Sulhamstead community and overlooks the Sulhamstead and Ufton Cricket Club. Managed by the same team as highly successful gastropub The George at Wraysbury, there are plenty of culinary delights and a wide range of local, regional and international wines, beers and ales for residents of Sulhamstead and the surrounding area to enjoy. The Spring Inn serves a weekly Sunday roast as well as lunch and supper daily. With a wealth of culinary experience our Chefs have succeeded in sourcing the finest ingredients with preference to local suppliers whilst creating a unique menu. Our team of passionate chefs prepare food that when presented to our visitors delivers returns of delight that makes it evident they are all, without exception, passionate, creative and caring about their cooking and indeed, presentation. With plenty of garden space including a terrace area and a large car park now is the time we can enjoy our British summer. On rainy days the interior is inviting to ensure everyone has plenty of room to enjoy their meal or relax around the bar. The Spring Inn is fully stocked with local, regional and international beers and ales as well as old and new world wines, a wide range of spirits, liqueurs as well as top shelf whiskeys ports & pudding wines. Morning coffee, afternoon tea and a selection of soft drinks are available throughout the day. With a private dining area we are able to accommodate group bookings for birthdays, conferences, meetings, weddings and whatever cause celebration you'd like us to host for you! The New Team at The Spring Inn look forward with pleasure to welcoming you for a light lunch, evening supper, Sunday roast or just a relaxing drink with friends, family and colleagues.

Heard good things about the Spring Inn - under new management, refurbishment etc. and it didn't disappoint at all. The pub/restaurant has been there for years under various guises - Mulligan's Fish Restaurant, the old Spring Inn etc. and it's always struggled and has limped from one venture to the other. But now? They seem to have nailed it. Really... More

We were just driving by this pub and decided to go in just for one drink. We ended up staying for a meal too as it looked and smelt so nice. Lovely British menu with lots of choice. Personally i thought the portion sizes were a tad small but maybe i am a bit greedy. :) The staff were all... More

This was our second time with a large party (12-14 people) and everyone was very impressed. Fantastic service along with delicious food and very reasonable prices. Don't think we have found anything on the menu that isn't good ! We will definitely be coming back. A very classy establishment.

My party of 3 went for my birthday meal on a Friday night in June. It was busy with a coach parked outside. We figured they must of been accommodated upstairs and this was probably the reason for the delay in the service. It took ages and when the food came it was luke warm. However, it had promise. The... Staying at a nearby hotel I passed this establishment and checked it out on tripadvisor, despite the odd "disappointing" review I am chuffed I tried it. For a Tuesday evening it was busy and despite dining alone I was not forgotten about. The food was extremely well presented and delightfully tasting. It was all served piping hot with varying colours/textures... More

We must admit to being biased towards this gastro pub as we have become regular diners. This bias has only come about because of the all round quality of the food, staff, and attention to detail that justifies this as being the best for the all round dining experience.

We went to the Spring Inn with friends. Staff were very welcoming, greet you as you walk in. Lovely pub, nice atmosphere. I ordered my starter which was beetroot and goats cheese salad. I had a problem finding the goats cheese, they was literally hardly any. Main course came with no vegetables, you have to order side dishes. Considering it's... More
