Great evening. Good company, tasty food, a few mistakes on the drinks front, that was easily sorted. Not easy looking after 30 of us and another large party.

My main course was "monkfish, cod... More

Our party all enjoyed the lovely food & atmosphere but still the menu overall is rather pricey for a casual meal.

We were meeting family here for Sunday lunch and I'm glad we did. The place in itself is a lovely looking pub and from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile. The choice of food available was great and as I am on a diet I was slightly worried that I would struggle to choose... More

Had a great meal just before Xmas so visited again on Saturday. It was packed out both times. The service was good and food was really great. Didn't have a starter this time as the portions are quite big so went for main and desert. I had steak and ale pie which was amazing and banana bread and butter pudding... More

Pub and staff were warm and welcoming and only complaint with service was that one of our party got their food much later than the rest - though in fairness and without any complaint they took that item off the bill. The real issue for me was what happened afterwards. I chose the sausage and mash option. Food seemed fine... More

This place is great. Been three times now and never had a problem. Good value for money. Really excellent food and excellent service. My boyfriend had the lamb which was on the specials and he loved it.

We ate here on New Years' Eve and had to pre-order our food. The service and attention by cheerful staff was first-class, but I thought the food was distinctly average with somewhat meagre portions; for the cost I would have liked to see a bit more on the plate.I would like to go again just to see if ordering at...
