This is the second time we have been here but sorry to say it was as bad as the first time, the food wasn't hot the deck was messy and the table where we sat was sticky they must of spilt the drinks when they brought them without cleaning it up. The only good thing about the visit was the... More

Ate here on a Sunday Lunch time as a party of 11. 8 of us went for the carvery option, the others choosing from the menu. We got off to a slightly shaky start as the table which had been reserved for our party was up a small flight of stairs, but most of our party were elderly and unable... More

This is a typical carvery bit a lot cheaper than others of a similar standard. The staff are friendly and the foods never been dissapointing

We often drop in en-route home after shopping. It's quick, straight forwards grub with no pretences. Sometimes better than others, don't understand why they've now priced beef/chicken different to turkey/gammon options, it just limits your options when making a choice when you get to the counter and the meats look a bit iffy, for the sake of 20p or whatever... Very very good value for money. A carvery similar to Toby's but cheaper. However it is so cheap that they struggle with staffing issues and you have to overlooka few things. Good, cheap food.

Good food and lovely tea, pleasant staff, just 50 yards from travelodge, and when i was there it was very busy which tells me it is very popular

Me and my family have been here a few times for a carvery and it's fair to say the value is fantastic! Far better value than Toby Carvery. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful especially the male carver, he is always very up beat and genuinely takes a real interest in the customers he serves. The portions are... More

For what we paid, we couldn't complain. Friendly staff and quick service, although we weren't there at a peak time.

Food nothing fancy, just honest down to earth food, although a 'Carvery if you havn't visited for a while you could be in for a surprice. Fish & Chips on the menu now, cooked to perfection, and a fair size too, this newly introduced also runs along the same lines as the traditional carvery, and at a very realistic price.
