An imposing converted (?Greek Othodox) Church that stands like a Roman villa of alcoholic fun on Walton Street...well worth a visit. The cocktails are great too!

Not sure why all the negative reviews. This place is awesome. 15% student discount on about half of the cocktails, and some of them are served in pint glasses so good value. The Nosedive and the Freud Wine Cooler (I think) were amazing. Nice place.

It used to be a church so it looks quite spacy inside cuz the ceiling is very high. The price is quite high though.

Great to sit outside if its sunny. Good & extensive cocktail menu. Proper cocktails not thrown together. Beautiful high ceiling inside & stained glass windows helped the atmosphere. The blues music playing on my last visit on a Saturday lunch time, topped things off nicely. Worth a visit day or evening. Good clientele.

What a cool place! Half derelict, half hidden, I love this bohemian unusual place. There is a cool bar inside, and a huge open space where they hold a lot of art exhibitions. I would hire this place for a party - amazing!

Had a gathering on Saturday afternoon at Freud's to celebrate my birthday. It was FREEZING. Apparently the heating wasn't working, though they seemed to be doing something about this just as we decided to decamp to a warmer venue two hours later so they lost the trade of twenty + people on a slow afternoon. The drinks were overpriced and... More

Freud look great from Walton Street; how many other places can count on this great location? However, this great feeling goes missing when you engage with any of the staff members. Generally speaking quite rude. The bar is sticky and sometimes it is too dark inside.

A 15/20 minute wait for drinks! The management really need to understand that on a Saturday night they need to have more than 5 staff working behind the bar in such a packed venue.

Visited with a group during our college reunion weekend. Really wish we hadn't. The venue was all but empty inside, with no atmosphere. Perhaps because he had nothing else to do, one of the door men decided to spend his time perched on the edge of our table, literally, watching one of our party who he said he thought was... More

Very friendly staff, drinks were good however best bit is the venue and old church redone as a bar. Brilliant.
