We were a big party of women and a few men. The staff did everything they could to ensure we were all served food at the same time and it was excellent. I had fishcake and then confit duck with red cabbage and I have to say it was fantastic. A restaurant that serves a group so well is a... More

I'm a frequent visitor to Oxford and popped by Moya on my latest visit after reading the reviews. It was a cold winter's evening and the restaurant was fairly busy. The food is well priced and there is a great variety of starters, mains and desserts. You could easily stop by just for their list of cocktails. There were only... More

Fabulous cocktails and a lovely meal; meat eaters were in heaven and the vegetarians said that their food was delicious! Attentive staff and an all round pleasant evening. Will be back.

Eastern European food has a reputation for heaviness, but even my delicious dumplings, with vegetables and flavoured with caraway seed, were light. Very good selection for non-meat eaters and meat eaters too. Tables well placed so that, even though the place was quite full, we did not feel drowned out or overheard. Recommended

Moya is light, bright and welcoming. There's a huge selection of drinks and a happy hour price option for cocktails. There are several vegetarian options on the menu but both times I've been I've gone for the same delicious options of vegetarian devil's toast followed by cauliflower with puy lentils and saute potatoes. I haven't made it to pudding yet... More

This is a very unassuming restaurant with excellent food and service. Nice to try food from a different part of the world. Well worth a visit

Staying in Cowley Road area of Oxford, we chose this restaurant based on previous Trip Advisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. On typically cool wet November evening, the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The staff were attentive and friendly. The menu choice was quite varied offering Slovakian based dishes as well as more typical English ones, including a selection... More

The food was good, especially for the price. I thought it was presented very well too and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. Service was a little slow, although they were busy. Overall, a good evening out.

Having lived in Oxford for a long time, I had heard about Moya but never visited. Following a number of recommendations I decided to eat here last night with my husband as a birthday treat. Originally had planned to go to the Magdalen Arms but it is so noisy there and we wanted to be able to actually talk to... More
