excellent place

My husband and i went on Saturday evening. It was busy but not overly full. The service we received was excellent from start to finish. The place is spotless and very well decorated. The food was exceptional. We are going back with friends in the near future.

Three of us visited on a Friday night by chance and just googling restaurants in that area. We thought a Slovakian restaurant would be a bit different and it had good reviews. We were not disappointed! The service throughout was friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a laid back ambiance with the kitchen open to diners. There were interesting cocktails available... More

My husband and I recently stayed in Oxford for a few days and after some research on Trip Advisor, we decided to try this Slovak Restaurant for my husbands birthday meal. I am pleased to say that we were not disappointed and had a most enjoyable evening. The ambience was very cosy and romantic. We had cocktails when we arrived,... More

Really nice restaurant with great food. If you like Eastern European food or would like to try it then this is the best place for you. Small homely feeling restaurant with reasonable prices. Great place for nice evening.

I've visited Moya several times now and I can definitely recommend it for reasonably priced and extremely tasty food served in very generous portions. Great to try some new cuisine - delicious!

Out with friends on Friday we were taken to Moya as a recommendation. As a (sort of) vegetarian I was dubious about the voice that might be available to me. I shouldn't have worried - there were 4 choices of mains on the set menu and plenty of specials on the board as well. Service was excellent, food was wonderful... More

good value meal and pleasant service. A 3 course meal for 6 with a bottle of wine, 5 draft beers, one bottled beer, and 4 cocktails total bill £220 including a 10% service charge. Recommended

Dinner at Moya was great. The food (we had Pork shank and Duck leg) was delicious! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere of the place is welcoming and peaceful. They have also good selection of drinks and tasty Czech beers ;) Can't wait to go again!

For our first experience of Eastern European food this restaurant came up trumps. We had a couple of amazing cocktails followed by beautifully presented and tasty starters (battered prawns and devils toast) followed by traditional goulash. Desserts were equally scrummy. Attentive staff, and certainly not slow service. Would definitely visit again.

Had a lovely 3 course meal here with my daughter. All freshly prepared excellent service. Was quiet as Tuesday night. Dumplings with sauerkraut sounded heavy but we're light & delicious with soft hints of caraway . Fish perfectly cooked & my daughter lovely the light fruity sponge or bubblelina for dessert
