Very nice staff, sat outside for a drink first under the heat lamps. Inside very comfortable nicely decorated. Food was very good quality I had scallops which were served in their shell with breadcrumbs sprinkled over the top very succulent and nicely presented. Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime. Busy, but the staff made you feel welcome. There is a set menu, 3 courses for £12.50, I think. It was good value. The normal menu was available too. Lovely pork chop and yoghurt and plum fool to die for. Plenty of veggie options too. Would return.

Went for an early dinner and found the restaurant to have amazing food. Started with a wonderful pea and ham soup followed by bream with clams. It was very tasty with the skin cooked to a wonderful crispness. Would definitely recommend. The staff were really friendly.
