What a restaurant should be. We've had romantic dinners and a large family celebration lunch here. Always lovely. Good traditional french cooking served in a cheerful atmosphere - and they do a pretty decent house red. You can pay a lot more for a lot less in Oxford.

Nice cosy atmosphere on a cold Sunday afternoon for the three of us - attentive service, good value traditional Sunday lunch with a slight difference. An independently run restaurant, have not visited in the evening but couldn't fault our afternoon visit.

My favourite restaurant in Oxford. I go there frequently for a quick meal at a very reasonable price. French menu with relatively simple dishes well presented. Often crowded but the service is very efficient and friendly. Glad to recommend it.

We had a fantastic meal in this little French bistro in Oxford. Very authentic French cuisine, for every course and a great wine selection. In particular we loved the Onion steak and the cheese selection to finish. Also the Boudin Noir to start with was excellent. Good value as well as we had the £22 3 course menu (pretty much... More

We chose this restaurant prior to our visit to Oxford based upon reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. The fixed price lunchtime menu was varied and excellent value at £10.90 for three courses. The food was perfect (beef bourguignon and confit duck) and whilst service was a little hurried it did not detract from the meal. We enjoyed it... More

In a nutshell: awesome food, polite staff, well presented kitchen staff. We came on a Friday and it was absolutely packed, was a little concerned that the standard of food would have dropped because it was so busy. My very hard to please foodie boyfriend said it was the best meal he'd ever had (mal maison, take note) and this... More

We had an fab family celebratory meal here for 10 people on a Saturday night. They worked hard to fit us in. We booked ahead but our preferred time slot was not originally available. They fill up quickly and were turning people away all night. I wouldn't hesitate to go back - the food was great and the value was... More
