A lovely experience here

Down a cobbled street through an antique door and up the stairs. Tom yum was great - apple salad spicy and tangy. the menu is extensive and food arrived quickly. Mango sticky rice was great. thanks

Booked a table for 5 to avoid disappointment and mention it was my husband's birthday. Restaurant was very busy! To my surprise we were put in a small room downstairs, all squeezed in a small table, the closest to the loo. Food was good, service was ok and really quick and as soon as we said we didn't want dessert,... More

We had lunch here as visitors to Oxford. Seemed fairly popular, but we were pretty underwhelmed by the food and portions were not generous. Slow service. Lovely old building, shame about the food.

A quick internet search reveals that Pad Pak Boong - Morning Glory - is water spinach - phew. The restaurant in a grade 2 listed building is found down an alley off the High Street & it is well worth hunting out. We know a couple of good Thai restaurants but this one is just that bit better. The Chiang... More

we were a group of 6 on a Friday night, the food was delicious, though we ordered too much and sadly had to leave quite a bit! we ordered the mixed starter for the 6 of us plus one other starter and could have probably stopped there!! would definitely go back.

Went there on an advice. Had a bit of difficulty to find the location. Once you find the entrance, the rest is easy and delicious. Ordered a sweet and sour duck & plain rice and a vegetarian main menu which was really delicious. The servants are nice and helpful. The ambience is nice. The menu is good for both meat... More

I'm very surprised that this restaurant doesn't have even higher ratings. I love thai food and usually sample a handful of thai restaurants wherever I go. This is perhaps the best thai restaurant I've been to in the US or UK.

More like Chinese food than Thai. Not enough staff, too busy to be bothered with you. It was mediocre. Shame as beautiful building, could be special. Very popular however not to my taste.

This gem of a restaurant is a little hidden away as all best things should be - down a very narrow lane off Oxford High Street. The building is very old and has a very interesting history (told on the menu) but the food is fresh, high quality and very reasonably priced. Staff are also very attentive and helpful. If... More
