Good, but not all

I had a Thai ice tea. Very good. I had a Veggie Thai salad with spinach leaves. I didn't like it. I had a green curry, it was excellent I had sweet rice and mango. It was good. The service was good, and the atmosphere friendly.

We arrived not having booked but were greeted and served quickly. This was, without doubt, the best Thai food that I have ever eaten. Try it for yourself!

Myself & my partner chose Chiang Mai as it had been recommended we were not disappointed. There was a lot to choose from and there was a lovely atmosphere. The waitress serving us was brilliant, and couldn't be more polite. We chose the sharing platter, sticky rice and coconut rice, sweet and sour duck, and seafood. Initially, we were given... More

Very good authentic food and good atmosphere. Best Thai food outside of Thailand. Lovely welcome too

We enjoyed our food and we all sampled many different dishes. It was very busy, great service and a lovely atmosphere!

Terrible food. Ordered a chicken dish and the chicken was extremely dry and not very flavoursome. Also ordered sticky rice, which was hard, undercooked, and not sticky. It also came in a plastic bag, so I have some doubts about the authenticity. Would NOT recommend at all.

You don't realise the gem is tucked away as it is down an alley. We were greeted by the staff, who were incredibly friendly. The stairs leading to the restaurant are made of old dark wood which was lovely. The main floor was calm, candlelit but cool. It was a great way to relax after walking around Oxford all day.... Ate here with my husband. Nearly walked past it as it is tucked down an alley way. We hadn't booked but they soon found us a table. ALL the staff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. They were really helpful when I asked for advice on some of the dishes too. A lovely, quirky building - so pleased... More

We visited this excellent Thai restaurant down an alleyway off Oxford High Street whilst visiting our newly relocated daughter in Oxford. The welcome was friendly and the food as good as you would get inThailand itself (which I have much experience of). The mixed platter starter was plentiful nicely cooked and dry not greasy as can be the case. The... More

We went there because it had quite good reviews, but it was very average. Phad Thai had a pinky hue to it, not that great. The fish was a little dry. Squid was ok. For those who love Thai food and have experienced the real thing, you'll be disappointed. Acceptable for a takeaway, but look elsewhere if it's a meal... More
