I have been lucky enough to eat in Gee's four times since the refurbishment and each time the food has been excellent, very well priced and the service very attentive. It has a lovely feel to it... I have eaten with girlfriends, dined solo and eaten with a large family group (including children!) and each time it has been a... More

Having had a disappointing first visit after the relaunch we thought we'd try again, hoping their teething problems would be over - but sadly, that was not the case. The menu is confusing, portion sizes are small (they don't warn you when you need side dishes, so it's annoying and feels like they're avoiding a known issue), the food is... More

I loved Gee’s before the refurbishment and I think it’s got even better. My husband and I had one of our first dates there and last week we returned for our wedding. Brighter, more colourful and more relaxed than before, with beautiful interior features that made our photographer’s life very easy. A very special place – we were proud to... More

Went for lunch with my husband. The quality of the food was superb, service was good and the setting is beautiful. Pricey, but worth it for a treat.

Found this restaurant by doing a quick Internet search whilst staying in oxford for a couple of nights. Enjoyed it so much the first evening that we went back a second time and were not disappointed. The cocktails are well worth a try, and having sampled quite a lot of the food between us can just suggest having whatever you... More

What a shame, I have eaten here a few times before and whilst the food hasn't been the best along with the ambience its always been fairly reliable for a good night out. Not it would seem anymore. The menu is too small and too basic requiring very little skill in its production. Soft shell crab was served with a... More

I had a long lunch with my extended family (19 people, including 2 small children) at the beginning of April. The service was excellent - flexible, attentive and accommodating to the needs of our large group. As a vegetarian, I was particularly pleased that the vegetarian food was so good - a really brilliant butternut squash ravioli. Drinks were also... More

Gee's was a very pleasant experience. Lunch on Easter Sunday. Service and food very good. Lovely ambience and interesting setting. Slightly expensive for a Sunday lunch, but worth the cost for a treat. Would return wothout doubt.
