Super food, super pasta, pizza and seafood. Almost ordered too much food. House wine is great value. Service excellent and atmosphere busy yet serene. We liked watching pizzas and food being prepared (and a decent space between us and the next diners, the kitchen). Nice surprise to find this place close to our accommodation in Summertown. You won't be disappointed... More

Similar to earlier review we also had perhaps the same shy(?) waiter who spoke very little to us. We had been looking forward to our meal as it was our anniversary. Both elements of our starter were wrong and our floater coffee was just a white coffee, but we were assured that was how it was meant to be when... More

We were a party of four who had booked a table for Saturday, 16 August. The restaurant was very busy but our waiter took the time to discuss the menu, take the order and the bring the freshly cooked food . It was absolutely superb as was the service. We would all highly recommend Cibo's. -A great atmosphere too!!

Not too busy which was nice. Waiter was hard work... Not very chatty but perhaps just shy. Food is not too bad cost wise but beware a Peroni cost £5.25! However when the food arrived it was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the must wonderful Italian food. My husband had the chicken and I had the... More

Great service outdone only by the excellent food. There's no place I'd rather go with family, friends or colleagues. The risotto pescatora is particular is excellent.

Had a last minute lunch here. Ordered the Capra pizza. Delicious but had difficulty in cutting the thin-based pizza with the cutlery. Woulkd have been better is the chef had cut the pizza into slices before serving.

We have eaten here twice now in the last few weeks and we have been really impressed both times, the menu changes regularly and the choice of food is really good, the seafood and steaks were brilliant and the baked Parmesan starter was gorgeous. Lovely to sit outside when the weather is nice, service good and they are happy to... More

My mom took me and my sister today to il "Cibo" and I must say (not because I'm Italian) that the pizza was horrible. Just to say we were the only customer in the all restaurant.I asked if the ham was Italian ham and in my opinion it really wasn't. The pizza base wasn't good at all, to the point... More

Ordered an American Pizza, Salad Verde and a pasta dish. Pasta dish was okay. Salad Verde was very nice with roasted courgette and a balsamic dressing. However the Pizza was superb. When it was cut in the middle, you could hear the crunch, as was every other piece. Definitely recommended!

I think 3 and a half points would be more accurate. We were a large group and the service was friendly and discreet. The gazpacho was delicious, but the main was less so. I had asparagus ravioli and it was a little too al dente, a tad cardboardy. I'd also suggest to the restaurant that they add ceiling fans, as... More
