We decided to go to the Tree in Iffley for their Lohri celebrations. What a night! Indian drumming, dancing round the fire followed by a selection of Indian food. Very reasonably priced and something different for a cold Saturday evening in January. Great fun. There are more of these sorts of speciality nights at The Tree and the Annora restaurant... More

We celebrated NYE at this restaurant. Everything was really good. Very clean sparkly glasses, whiter than white table linen, shiny cutlery, - and food to die for! A brilliant choice and we will return. Well done to the staff who worked so hard and to the chef whose skill was evident.

As we were in the area and this restaurant has good reviews we booked to go there for my birthday celebration meal. Big mistake. It is not a restaurant at all but a pub. I have no problem with pub food, in fact I have had some exceptional meals in a pub, but not this one. The surroundings are very... More

We were staying in the area and decided to go for a low key meal before our big night out the next day. However, our meal at theTree Hotel turned out to be the best meal of the weekend. They serve a range of curries and both ours were fantastic and had all the trimmings. It was also quiz night... More

Had a baptism meal on Sunday at the Tree Hotel, Iffley, for our baby twins. A large group of us had the International Buffet and it was delicious food and very friendly service. Hope to go there again soon!

Twelve of us had lunch here last Sunday to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had the Sunday buffet and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were very friendly and we look forward to returning in the future.

We had such a good time last night, at the Tree's International Wine Tasting event, that I just had to write about it. The three course meal was excellent - good sized portions and very good quality. The five wines were well chosen and served in generous measures(!). Our fellow diners were very pleasant and the room had a nice... More

A return to the sister restaurant of the Tree at Cadmore, the Tree Hotel in Iffley offers a very similar style of eating: mix of Indian, Thai, English and classic English pub grub. But it is the Indian food that is the best thing about this place. So much to choose from and whatever you select is guaranteed to be... More
