I am lucky enough to live close enough to the Tree to have an excuse to visit regularly! The food is exceptional - a hugely varied menu, with particularly excellent Indian and Thai dishes. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the array of offers and community events mean there's always an excuse to visit. Keep up the good... More

I had a fantastic meal at The Tree, Iffley Village. First we had a demonstration of curry making by the chef, with tasting, tips and lots of questions and answers. This was followed by a wonderful curry meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and altogether it was a great evening.

An enjoyable evening spent eating in the bar of the Tree Hotel. The restaurant was closed but far more atmosphere eating in the bar and the majority of clients were doing the same. A varied menu and they specialise in Indian cuisine but something for everyone. Lots of fun things advertised such as Lessons on cooking Indian food, Oktoberfest fun... More

Nice setting but very poor customer service and average food. Had a really bad experience last night - the waiter (who was actually the manger I later realised) brought out the main course before the starter then started to argue about it when I later complained that the mains were obviously re-heated (my boyfriend's chicken and risotto was pretty horrible).... We decided to go to the Tree in Iffley for their Lohri celebrations. What a night! Indian drumming, dancing round the fire followed by a selection of Indian food. Very reasonably priced and something different for a cold Saturday evening in January. Great fun. There are more of these sorts of speciality nights at The Tree and the Annora restaurant... More

We celebrated NYE at this restaurant. Everything was really good. Very clean sparkly glasses, whiter than white table linen, shiny cutlery, - and food to die for! A brilliant choice and we will return. Well done to the staff who worked so hard and to the chef whose skill was evident.

Milder sweeter style of biryani rice and chicken as compared to a Sindhi type. None the less a grea We went back again for more today. They are at the Oxford Christmas festival this weekend. Excellent meal.

As we were in the area and this restaurant has good reviews we booked to go there for my birthday celebration meal. Big mistake. It is not a restaurant at all but a pub. I have no problem with pub food, in fact I have had some exceptional meals in a pub, but not this one. The surroundings are very... More

We were staying in the area and decided to go for a low key meal before our big night out the next day. However, our meal at theTree Hotel turned out to be the best meal of the weekend. They serve a range of curries and both ours were fantastic and had all the trimmings. It was also quiz night... More

Had a baptism meal on Sunday at the Tree Hotel, Iffley, for our baby twins. A large group of us had the International Buffet and it was delicious food and very friendly service. Hope to go there again soon!
