Great food

We came to Loch Fyne for Father's Day this year and were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was fab for all three courses! The moules were gorgeous and everyone had food envy on our table! The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that a few of our group were slightly disappointed with... read more

This was our third visit and it certainly wasn't a case of third time lucky. The food was bland, dry and not very warm. What was warm however was the bottle of Chablis that was put on our table. We did make our comments known to the waiting staff, who were very good and the wine was promptly replaced. It's... More

Recommended by Concierge at The Randolph we walked there after a long transit from CA. Very hungry and tired. Terrific ambience, excellent service by Matthew (all the handsome young British men look like Princes). The mussels were the best we'd ever eaten. Very plump, tender and in a tasty broth. Eli loved his Scottish IPA and I enjoyed a luscious... More

If like me, you are a fish and seafood lover, then, make sure to lunch or dine at the Loch Fyne. You'll be nicely greeted and served and the food is just great! We had sprats for our appetizer then a dozen of oysters each! It was my companion's birthday and he got a lovely candle on his oysters plate!... More

Reservation made mid-week on line for a Saturday table for two. On arrival, not disappointed as everything was prepared, an excellent comfortable table and sofa type seats near to the entrance and bar. The menu is just fantastic, so much choice, the aromas from the visible kitchen were mouth watering, the service, the wines and the meals were the best... More

went for Brunch with the family and it was excellent. All food well cooked and presented. Staff very friendly and attentive. My son has not stopped raving of how good the food was especially the garlic mushroom!

We visited on a Saturday at 6.45. The restaurant was about 1/4 full. The waiter and the waitress studied their book and informed us that they did not have a free table until 8.30!! We went up the road to eat and walked past an hour later. ALL of those empty tables were still empty. Quite obvious that they did... More

Went here after our Son's graduation. He was off with his friends so we decided on our own celebration. Had a really nice meal here as always Loch Fyne know what to do with fish. My Hake was cooked to perfection and my wife said sane about her Haddock. Service was prompt given how busy they were in a Friday... More

After having a really nice Christmas Meal for our department's 'do' I thought I'd book a quiet night at Loch Fyne when my wife and I had a recent 'night off' (with daughter at a school sleepover). I figured I'd play it safe by booking an early friday night table (6.30) and being able to book online / print out... More
