Great fish

I think they've listened to some of the comments as staff were good and friendly and attentive. Food is great apart from the cheese plate which was thrown together with cold cheese straight out of the fridge. Get it room temperature please next time! I'll go again though!

I went along for a business team meal and was blown away by the quality of their seafood. I had their muscles for starters, then their fresh bass for main. The fish was melt-in-the-mouth and the sauce not too rich. We were attended to very well, so no problem with the service. Will definitely be going back, it's a shame... More

very disappointed with the food and service, considering its a fish restaurant, the haddock was the single worst piece of fish I've ever been served in a restaurant or take out. The batter was wet and stuck to the almost non existence fish inside. The chips were very tasty and plentiful. Most of the party said the meal was very... More

Bit more expensive but always tastes good. If you like sea food then this place is the right choice for you. It always tastes great, only the service is sometimes slow. But definitely have samphire for side dish, it's absolutely lush.

My boyfriend and I came here about a month ago, and I had ordered the tuna steak and beef dish. The tuna was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked (rare), delicious, as was the beef. We were big fans. So yesterday we went, and I ordered the same dish, as did my boyfriend (who had serious food envy last time we visited... More

The food is amazing here, it was my second visit. But the service is shocking, you feel like your and inconvenience to the staff and your money is worthless. We weren't asked once if our meal was ok or if there was anything else we needed. It doesn't take much to smile or ask if we're having a good evening.... More

We've not been here for a while. And noticed some variable reviews, but decided to give it a try for ourselves. The food was excellent and well presented. I had the sea food platter to share with my daughter and it was excellent, both hot and cold variety of sea food and a nice tasty lobster to finish it off.... More

Haven't been in a long a long time, we were deeply disappointed with the poor quality of the food and the careless service. Appetisers were the best (we only order two), but mains were not up to a restaurant of this price category. Lobster spaghetti dish was awful: acid, not sour, and sweet. It lacked flavour and had a clear... More

Went on a Friday night, and service was perfect combination of efficiency and good banter. Not sure why there are a few negatives about Walton street, as I found everything fine. Oysters great - though not a fan of some of the dips they came with - lemon juice and or tabasco proved favourite. Had a couple of starters -... More
