This was our first Brasserie Blanc which opened over 18 years ago when Raymond Blanc was just a boy! Now with a truly beautiful new look, we are open every day from breakfast right through to dinner, and everything in between. We love it here in the heart of the Jericho area of Oxford where we serve real French food in our relaxed and welcoming, light filled space. The restaurant is always buzzing with our many regulars, new faces and the many tourists visiting this charming part of the city. Ask about our private dining room if you have a special occasion in mind or if you want a meeting space with great French coffee on tap.

Blanc's place in town

We ate on a busy Friday night when the place was packed, but the service was friendly and attentive. Food was good without being outstanding.

We visited Brasserie Blanc recently for a special occasion. The setting in the front room was pleasant , dark grey with comfortable chairs, staff were agreeable and the classic French menu looked promising, but of the 7 dishes we chose, only one - the cherry amandine – was up to the mark. All the others - Mediterranean fish soup, steak... More

We had a fantastic dinner at the faultless Brasserie Blanc. The staff were very friendly and informative, completing the very pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious. For my main course I had sea bass with a bouillabaisse sauce and my friend chose the pork belly- both were cooked perfectly. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chocolate souffle, which... Dropped into Brasserie Blanc on the spur of the moment on a rainy day for lunch. Restaurant was quiet, the food was very delicious and the service was really excellent. I definitely felt that the whole experience was in keeping with what you would expect from a top class restaurant at prices I pay at local pubs. Frankly I know... More

Arrived a little early but that was no problem for the staff. Excellent choices in the menu and tempting specials were offered. Friendly atmosphere to accompany delicious dishes. Highly enjoyable experience.

A good location in Jericho with some good dishes but my main course of sea bream was disappointing - what were those croutons meant to be?- and the baked alaska I persuaded my son to share for dessert was a let down compared to their London restaurant. Other courses were much better but strangely less memorable.

I have enjoyed the Brasseie Blanc many times, but the fabric was in need of a makeover, which it received in early 2015, and now it is spick and span again, really smart and with an improved layout. It was just the place to take my extended, tri-generation family when we were all together in Oxford recently. Six adults, and... More

What a delight. Staff were so very helpful. Made a very relaxed yet important visit. They heard we were celebrating and put candles on a dessert as a treat. Such a special touch. Amazing place.

Visited with our 11 yr old daughter as a treat for her as she has always admired Raymond Blanc since she was small. It was Friday evening and very busy. Lovely atmosphere with people chatting away. Very good service. Lovely rose wine by the glass. The cheese soufflé with cheese sauce was fabulous, so was the Chateaubriand, then the chocolate... More

Great place for lunch or dinner. The set menu is amazing value and the food is fantastic. Staff brilliant . Sometimes you find slightly snooty other diners but they can't select them I guess!! Very laid back atmosphere.
