I have eaten at Byron on several occasions in the past, always going for burgers and I was never disappointed. I'd like to share my most recent experience however. Last Sunday evening we've decided with my girlfriend to have some food in town. As we were after some simple light food, we went to Bella Italia and what a mistake... More

A really lovely welcome. Very friendly staff but not 'gushing'. I dined on my own and was well looked after. Food was very good, with a nice wine list. Great interior and makes a nice change to the plethora of chain Italian. Another of Tom Byng's successful additions. Well done team

It was a horrible experience... The staff were rude, well, they were rude to me, probably because they are racial discriminating me! I had been waited for my burger for more than half an hour, I was so curious how come it take so long to make a burger, thought it must be very tasty! well, what I got in... More

Afte a long trek around Oxford, we were in need of sustenance. We had a couple of drinks in O'Neills, which further sharpened the appetite, and we called into Bryon. Friendly efficient staff showed us to a table, which my wife wasn't keen on, and quick as a flash, we were offered an range of others to choose from. Suitably... More

They say "To keep serving proper hamburgers the way they should be". I say, worth a visit. Here you can find a wide choice of hamburgers. The menu is available also online. They pay attention to the quality -- the hamburgers are made with good Scottish beef. I had the "Byron" with dry cure bacon. Tasty indeed. Overall, good service.... More

When you need a fun place that still feels English but serves yummy hamburgers (kind of American style) visit Byrons. The burgers are relish and the milkshakes are amazing. We loved the fries, onion rings too! We came back TWICE during our 4 day stay because it was that good.

We visited Byron some time ago, but I still remember it very fondly! Some burgers if ordered with sides can end up being a little pricey but they were of a good quality. The decor is interesting and something different on George Street!
