Good Burger

Byron always have good burgers eaten in many of them across the UK as they roll out the expansion of the brand. Have to say really enjoy the atmosphere, also like having the choice of how I would like my burger cooked rather than having to have it done Med/ Well like a lot of place make... read more

Went for lunch- very excited as heard good things and have never been before. Had the Byron Burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were very good. The burger was not. It was weirdly tasteless and dry. Not good quality meat, not enough fat to give it any flavour- it was like a McDonald's burger. The brioche bun tasted cheap... More

I had the signature burger and Lager. Very good meat in the burger cooked well but not enough fat and sauce to give that dirty burger mouthfeel we all really want. but judging by the mostly female lunchtime diners maybe the customers prefer something more refined. Chips were good but the bun is too sweet for my old school liking,... More

I've had burgers at a variety of venues - in Oxford, London, and Edinburgh. These are easily the best. Some will be turned off by the fact that it's a UK chain, and I can appreciate that. I, however, wanted to know what a 'proper' burger tasted like, so I was curious enough to give it a try. The Classic... More

I was a customer in Byron in different places and i find this chain very good. But this time i will rate it excellent not for the burger which is very good and actually the best from all the other chains, but for the perfect christmas pretzel milkshake. You must keep it in the menu not only for Christmas. I... More

The burgers were the most tastless I have ever had. Like a slab of cardboard inside a burger bun. Chips had to be bought seperately which is ridiculous. Avoid at all costs.

Food arrived after an excessive wait but I understand they were very busy. Shorty after eating my husband I developed excessive heartburn/acid indigestion which developed into a stomach upset. I emailed Byron's to advise them of this and they suggested my choice of Bean Patty may not have agreed with me and suggested I try the mushroom and goats cheese... More

Went here for a burger. And wasn't disappointed in that respect. But the extras aren't so great. Chips were extra and they weren't all that fantastic. But, can't knock the burgers.

My son and I were visiting Oxford and a student recommended this place to us. I was disappointed to say the least. The staff were pretty laid back and gave me the impression that they didn't care if you ate there or not. My son had burger and chips which looked nice but the portion of chips was about the... The burgers here are great - you know they're good quality when the waiting staff ask how you want it to be cooked :) milkshakes are the best ever too. Made with icecream and very tasty. Service not always the best but would still return
