One of the best tea shops i have ever visited. It's not that hard to find, but it might take you a while to figure it out and it's really worth it at the end.

Lovely little place with delicious freshly made teas and a sweet sitting area with wifi and plugs for laptops. It's down a side street off the High Street, worth walking a few seconds to find! Highly recommend. Peaceful environment.

We had seen advertisements pointing to this tiny café but at last we were able to sample it. You can approach it two ways, firstly there is a small alleyway from the High Street and a board shows you the way past a seedy pub. Alternately, you can go along Blue Boar St. and there is an alleyway on the... More

This is the only place I can think of in Oxford that does bubble tea, and even if another opened, I'd probably stick with this place. Great range of teas, and free samples given to customers that want to try other flavours. The interior is great, with a small area to sit on cushioned floors,r you can sit by the... More

It is a bit expensive for something that in some parts of the world you can get for a fraction of the price but ... hey ... they are yummy and there are not many places in the Oxford where you can get an Almond Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls!

We used this place consistently throughout our month-long course in Oxford and it quickly became a place we felt comfortable and relaxed in. The staff we're very friendly and helpful, helping suggest teas to try and the place itself was amazing-cushion floors are located towards the back of the shop along with 'regular' window seating. Everything about this place is... More

It is easy to miss the Formosan Tea Bar as it is hidden down a little alleyway off the High Street. But it is worth making the effort to find it. With so many coffee bears and pubs in Oxford, this is a refreshing change. There is a choice of teas, and the staff will describe each one in some... More

Coming from Vancouver where bubble tea bars abound, I was so excited when I saw someone walking down the street with bubble tea and she pointed me to Formosan. I was so excited because I've not come across bubble tea here but hahaha (ignore my snobbery) I was so disappointed to see only a handful of choices. I asked if... More

You definitely need to really look hard for this place especially now that the city council removed their signage outside wheatsheaf...but the classic pearl tea makes up for it. If you're gonna try it for the first time, please go for the classic milk tea...and experiment on other flavors on your next visit. I wasn't much impressed with the lemon tea... More

Opposite the wheatsheaf in oxford, this little gem can easily be passed. But please dont, Amazing. Ching tea with milk is beautiful, sitting in the area at the back where you have to take your shoes off and sit on cushions around a table is an experience. And remarkably cheap for what you get, put in a lovely starbucks style... More
