Always amazing food!

I've been to TSK many times and was never disappointed: the food here is fresh, tasty and often a mix of traditional and unusual dishes that defeat the bad reputation of English food. The restaurant and cafe parts have a feel of a living room and is busy most of the time.

We popped in for lunch and the restraurant had a great buzz about it and was quite busy. The staff were friendly, but they were slow to set the table and clear tables near by, also the glasses and cutlery had to be changed. I would return in the hope the service has improved........I will report back in the New... More

I've been a regular of this lovely restaurant/ bar/ coffee place. The idea is great and they pull it off! Its vibrant, the staff are very nice and professional and food is very good. It's nice to go in a restaurant where we offer you some local and tasty food at a very affordable price. The selection is different, every... More

Had a lovely dinner with friends on Saturday night, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, bubbly but not rowdy. Menu was full of fresh, seasonal ingredients, which was great. Unfortunately only one veggie option, which was a bit disappointing, but it was tasty. Good value too, especially the 2 course option. Apparently they're open late, but we got the impression... The prices may feel steep for students but the food is really lovely, I associate visits to Oxford with this restaurant. The restaurant has a nice homely atmosphere and the cuisine is modern and sleek but not pretentious. Great friendly service too.

From time to time, when health allows I am able to come to The Turl St Kitchen and enjoy their lovely food. Here we have a number of winning ingredients in the compact menus - usually 5 or 6 starters & 5 or 6 main (and I am not talking about the raw produce) - I hope they don't not... More

The food and drink is always excellent and fairly priced given fresh ingredients. However, whilst the staff didn't forget any orders or make any mistakes, they just weren't quite with it and as a result we had to wait far too long for orders to be taken, plates cleared, etc. Staff need to be a bit more aware. Also very... More

Turl Street Kitchen is filled most days for lunches and dinners. The guests are a mixture of students, tourists and local people. The restaurant has a student discount. The bar area is rustic but pleasant. There are a good selection of local beers and some ales. Nice choices of wines. The house wine selection was pleasant and reasonably priced. I... More

Top marks for everyone here. There is a tangible vibrancy and panache about this place that reminds me of a family run restaurant but with the proficiencies and sparkle of something progressive. You should franchise ;-)
