Good Afternoon Meal

Popped in on a Friday afternoon for a bite to eat. We were shown to a table and looked through the menu. We were asked if we would like drinks, and they were very quickly brought to our table. We all opted for the Original Combo, which arrived in a timely manner, and they were big portions as well... read more

Popped in here on a Friday evening as we couldn't be bothered to cook. It has improved greatly in recent months and the food and service is of a very good standard for a harvester.

The "Lunchtime Special" 2 Courses - £7:99 represents excellent value for money. The drinks are a tad pricey but the service was excellent. Our sincere thanks to "Lisa" we were served well !!! The complimentary salad was a nice touch, the choice was superb and plentiful.

As we sat down for breakfast the first thing we saw was a dead bug on the table and then as we helped ourselves to orange juice there wasn't one clean glass, everyone was"DIRTY". When the breakfast arrived one was wrong. After I had left I realised they had over charged me. So it was a very bad dining experience.... More

Went as a party of seven for a Sunday Lunch. Very attentive and friendly service by Paula, however when we asked for a water jug and six glasses, the waiter only brought three and Paula had to bring another. My Gammon was tender and very tasty but two who had fish and chips wondered how there could be so much... More

On entering the restaurant there was a really welcoming log fire burning, greeted by a very pleasant young lady. We had a table booked for 15, shame they don't have circular tables as it was difficult to 'catch up'. The service and food were both very good, couple of snitches but sorted quickly by our waitress, she was lovely. The... More

Went to the Harvester for a bite to eat. Waited 5 minutes at the door so I asked someone if we can sit ourselves, she informs me she cannot help as she is working in the bar however she just walked passed us from the kitchen! She called over to a waitress to get their attention so she could seat... More

This is a large Harvester which regularly advertises and send offers to those registered by e-mail. Food is good, service is pleasant and range of drinks is large. In fact service is too quick as with the free inclusive salad bar one doesn't have enough time for a second helping. Good value for money with the Harvester 'Offers'.
