Good standard of Thai food

We popped in for a drink but when we saw they serve Thai food, we decided to have our lunch there. The service was relatively fast and the food was a good standard of Thai food. The bill was not high at all, definitely value for money.

In the past year Oxford has seen an explosion of Thai restaurants; at the top end Oli's Thai in Cowley is excellent (but has a two month waiting list), while Thaikhun offers another. more street food based alternative with the reliability of a chain. The Old Tom manages to fit just in between these. Situated in an old pub (it... More

Went into this quaint little pub late afternoon for a drink, staff very friendly, good selection of beers and interesting surroundings. Sat in window opposite the entrance to Christ Church college, the pub was busy for a late afternoon and has a Thai Restaurant which we didnt try. Great to sit in the window with a pint and watch the... More

I love this place, and go with friends on average once a week! It's got great food at a good price and is overall amazing. I'd recommend to anyone who likes Thai food.

Very well priced, huge portions and delicious tasting food. Used Google maps to find somewhere local and fortunately this little pub was right by us. What a find. We shared the huge portion of vegetable tempura, which was delicious. My partner usually hates tempura! He then had pork pad Thai and I had the tofu red curry. Both were delicious.... More

Caught between being a pub and a Thai restaurant, this place does neither very well. It would be better served by deciding what it wanted to be and sticking with it. The food is ok and it has a nice little garden that is pleasant in the summer.

This our our regular go to for Thai food and it has never disappointed. Pad kee mau here is excellent and plenty of variety with stir frys.

We would previously have given five but there is something that is not quite as good as the previous owners had. Still good value and decent food.

This restaurant does the most amazing Thai food I've had outside London, and the service is great. The prices are not too high, and I return again and again and have never been disappointed. A must try!

Good ale, but the usual range of volume produced beers and lagers are also available. It's a pub I enjoy requesting as an Oxonian, rather than the standardised plastic pub chains that are capturing the market.
