Our new favourite coffee spot

Loved the atmosphere and loved the coffee - the best we've had in Oxford so far! I had a cappuccino which was nice and foamy, something rare for independent coffee shops. My girlfriend had an iced latte which was absolutely delicious - just the right balance of strong espresso and milk. Zappi's... read more

Simply the best coffee in Oxford. Great service from the two Dans. Plenty of choice in cakes and treats as well as sandwiches.

I go to Zappi's quite often for a reliable cup of coffee. I must say Zappi's does the best coffee! Consistent quality and efficient service. I usually order a flat white - the milk is nicely frothed and the coffee they use is of high quality. You can't really fault Zappi's on what they do best. Their mocha is one... More

It was through other people that I became acquainted with Zappi's bike Cafe, a tiny coffee bar tucked away in the top corner of a (quite good!) bicycle shop, just off the very central cornmarket street. Bike's aside, the coffee is very good, and also well presented (with missing-bean-style-esque patterns on the lattes, perfect for all devoted instagrammers... ahem.) Obviously,... More

This cafe is not far from Cornmarket, one of the main pedestrianized thoroughfares in Oxford. As it's name implies, the cafe is associated with a bicycle shop. Like me, if you are not interested in bicycles, it makes no difference, you go up a flight of stairs and you are in the cafe! [The flight of stairs makes it inaccessible... More

Zappi's is like a token you pass to share joy. If you like bicycles, you'll find quite extraordinary ones to look at and if you want to escape the brouhaha of Cornmarket Street, you'll be able to indulge in a comforting cup of coffee in a laid-back and trendy atmosphere.

An unexpected find in the centre of Oxford. Although small inside, this creates a cosy atmosphere to hang out in. The food here is great and for what you get the price is really good. Definitely a place to stop by if you're passing.

Obviously tastes differ, but this is my favourite coffee in Oxford. Don’t assume you’ll be able to get a table, though – it’s very small and as with all cafes people with laptops tend to hang around for ages.

Food is great. Absolutely loved their banana bread - sinful with all the butter & delicious. I could have a few more. The coffee was great too. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Oxford. Great place to stop by after shopping around or just to relax.

As a keen road cyclist, the appeal of artisan coffee above a serious bike shop proved too good to resist on a brief trip to Oxford. I was not disappointed. Being a loyal Starbucks flat white customer, I know how i like my coffee to taste (even if it is not to everyone's liking), but Zappi's knocked the socks off... More
