A bit different

Hidden away above and part of a bike shop. Nice for a coffee and a sandwich. Not much seating and some people blocked seats, working on their laptops with a glass of free water from the jug which seemed a bit off given the lack of space. Service was a bit slow but it was a relaxed friendly... read more

I've been to Zappi's several times and it's always a treat. Great coffee and the toasted banana bread is delicious. Only downside is it can be difficult to get a seat as it's getting too popular!!

I read good reviews for this cafe so decided to take a visit when I went to Oxford recently. It wasn't the easiest cafe to find but I loved the unique location! The staff were very friendly, and recommended the guest blend for my espresso macchiato; which was full of flavour and body and just all round brilliant!

This place is a hidden gem tucked away in the back of the first floor of a bike shop. Really lovely folks serving up thoughtfully-prepared, proper coffee.

I went for a coffee because I read it was really nice but I was disappointed. It was not as good as I thought and the place is so tiny it gets very crowded especially when there are children all over the place.

Always busy, worth the wait for the cakes and the coffee so if you're a cyclist like me, the cakes are a welcome piece of sustainance to take in. Lemon drizzle is a fave of mine..you wont be disappointed.

Loved the atmosphere and loved the coffee - the best we've had in Oxford so far! I had a cappuccino which was nice and foamy, something rare for independent coffee shops. My girlfriend had an iced latte which was absolutely delicious - just the right balance of strong espresso and milk. Zappi's has a very homey, light and airy feel... More

Simply the best coffee in Oxford. Great service from the two Dans. Plenty of choice in cakes and treats as well as sandwiches.

I go to Zappi's quite often for a reliable cup of coffee. I must say Zappi's does the best coffee! Consistent quality and efficient service. I usually order a flat white - the milk is nicely frothed and the coffee they use is of high quality. You can't really fault Zappi's on what they do best. Their mocha is one... More
