Great hidden little café, if you come in here on a Saturday at 12 the place is rammed with fit cycling types head to toe in lycra. Rest of the week it's the same people but in disguise in normal clothes. Fab little find.

Just great coffee. Unlike many chains the ever polite staff take their time with each cup. And, on the cups, they are small meaning you get great flavour as the coffee is not watered down in the half-pint beakers used by most chains. Splendid stuff.

Went to Zappi's Bike Café with my partner for lunch. Although it was very busy we found a quiet corner to perch and enjoy a hot chocolate and homemade cake. The service was excellent and atmosphere great.

It's not every day you go into a cycle shop, or a cycle shop café. But a terrific laid-back, quirky different experience. As an irregular cyclist I say "Don't miss this!"

Seriously. Lovely coffee, very well made, whether its the UE house roast or the rotating guest blends (which is what I tend to go for). The staff are friendly the cake tasty, I love their toasty menu (New Yorker's my favourite). And it's all reasonably priced!

Love the atmosphere and vibe. The food is good, although a little on the pricy side (for those on a student budget - £4.50 for tea and toast!) but I would pay the extra for the interesting location and friendly staff! Love love love the idea of having a cafe in a bike shop.

Staying in a hotel in the same street, and with a love of all things two wheeled our eyes were drawn to this little cafe above its associated bike shop. Our Zappi's breakfast bap, flat white and toast really hit the spot before a day walking, and I loved the attitude of the friendly staff, when on requesting hot milk... More

This is a great place for coffee. However, recommending it as a restaurant would be at best a joke. OK for a toastie. Cheap sweet snacks. Good service - that is about it. If you are a bike fanatic you could always have a go at one but they are better used as a vehicle - not recommended as food.... More

Popped in on a Sunday morning to check the stock of bike tops for my wife. As the café was open, I treated myself to a coffee and a nata (a Portuguese custard tart of extremely attractive proportions). Whilst the coffee was of excellent flavour, the nata was (to speak in Great British Bake-off terms) of a soggy bottom nature.... More

Have visited Oxford three years in a row on our narrowboat. Zappi's used to be in Jericho where we moor up but has moved into the centre. So we followed it! Great coffee, yummy chocolate Brownies and friendly staff. We enjoy it so much that we drove from our home in Gloucester one day just to visit. See you again... More
