Our friends are regulars at this bustling coffee house upstairs from the bike shop in downtown Oxford. Friendly service, really good coffee and hot drinks. Be sure to give it a try when in Oxford.

Not sure you would easily find Zappis, tucked away on a side street on downtown Oxford. Great little trendy coffee shop where the owners are very personable and really know their coffee. In particular, the espresso was excellent with several to choose from. Also had a tasty cheese and tomato toast sandwich.

When arriving at Zappi's bike cafe I instantly felt intimidated. The cafe was really busy and we didn't get a table. However, we still ordered a cappuccino relying on the possibility someone would move. After waiting 10 minutes to get the coffee which is quite some time as competitors take a mere 1 minute we found that nobody had moved.Staff didn't say sorry... Found this Cafe tucked away on the to floor of a bike shop via the Trip Advisor App. Very busy when we arrived which is always a good sign. Coffee was superb, as was the Coffee Art :-) If you need a pits stop whilst exploring the town, head here.

We are keen cyclists with a tandem that we explore lots of Oxfordshire on. This time we were on foot but seeing a bike cafe we had to give it a go and weren't disappointed. Great coffee, cake selection tempted us despite only just eating! Also a great bike shop and a clientele that clearly were regulars. As we will... More

Went into Oxford armed with a mental list from TA of "cafes" hoping for breakfast other than the ubiquitous wrap. Spotted Zappi's up a side street off a side street near the Westgate Shopping Centre. Zappi's is quirky to say the least. It is upstairs to the rear of what can only be described as a bicycle Emporium. The bikes... More

SImply put, the best coffee I have had in Oxford (...and I have been here going on five years). I will definitely make Zappi's a regular stop.

Such an odd place, a coffee shop in the upstairs of a bike shop. Here's the deal though -- the coffee is the best I had in Oxford hands down. If you like good coffee then go here. Period.

Crowded cafe with bad queuing / service area. Coffee arrived and was luke warm. Toasted sandwich arrived after we had finished the coffee and were ready to go. Go anywhere but here if you want decent service and hot coffee.

Dear PinaPineapple, I'm very sorry this was your experience of Zappi's. We really do try to offer the best coffee and service we can but as with every place we sometimes fall below the standards we try upmost to keep. I presume you came on Easter Weekend? and by your review, maybe on Saturday lunchtime? This is our busiest time... More

I don't live in Oxford. I don't even live in England or in Europe for that matter. But I would so fly myself down all the way to Oxford right into Zappi's cafe for their awesome Bananna cake and latte. It's what heaven must taste like. So, so good!
