We visited here on a Friday night and it was jam-packed full. The restaurant appeared small but probably because it was so busy and fortunately we'd booked a table in advance so were shown straight through. However, other people who hadn't booked were having to wait - always a good sign. The service was quick and pleasant and the tapas... More

Just happened to walk passed this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon with friends and nearly missed it with the other chain restaurants on the same stretch of road being more prominent. Decided to try it and so glad we did. The waiter was very pleasant and was almost apologising for only being able to offer us a table in the... More

We had not made a reservation for dinner and when we walked in it looked very busy. However we were greeted straight away and told it should only be 10-20 mins wait and we could have a drink at the bar and look at the menu. We were given the table right next to the door (a bit drafts) after... More

Definitely had some of the best tapas in my life here. The restaurant is very atmospheric and it genuinely feels as though you have stepped into a local Spanish tapas bar. We spent £40 and got 6 dishes of tapas as well as drinks, which filled us up, which we considered was great value for money. The service was very... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. We visited on a Saturday eve & didn't book so were lucky as the restaurant was picked so clearly very popular. In comparison to other small tapas restaurants I've eaten in I didn't think the food was fantastic. Relatively bland & didn't seem as if the ingredients were massively fresh or... More

I went there today with my girlfriend who is Spanish. She absolutely loved the food as did I. If a spaniard loves it, then that speaks volumes. Great great food and atmosphere.

Had a lovely dinner for two. A great, vibrant restaurant and good service. The tapas was decent but there is an opportunity to go to the next level (Oxford could really use a Brindisa). All very reasonable and good value. I liked the short but well formed wine list too.

I decided to visit Al-Andalus with some friends for a night out as I fancied something a little different to the usual pre-night out curry or burger. Al-Andalus is tucked away on a side street in Oxford but a stones throw away from some great bars. Sat near the main window at the front (which I'd avoid if you have... More

We often meet here for tasty lunch. They do a great deal with 2 tapas plus bread for £8.50. My husband always makes us order another dish so we have 5, delicious, but too much for lunch! All the tapas we've tried have been excellent. The absolutely best dish without doubt is the stuffed dates wrapped in bacon-Aamaazing!
