12 of us went here for a Hen Do meal on a Friday night - we were able to decorate the table in advance which was nice. The food was of great quality and restaurant had a good atmosphere - would recommend!

A friend and I went here twice over a weekend; once for a late night bottle of bubbly (arriving about 2310) and about the same time the following night for cocktails. The service is friendly without being pushy, the wine great and the cocktails beautifully prepared. It was a real find (and about three minutes walk to the station if... More

An elegant spot, frequented by the "Philosophy in Pubs" meetup, and no doubt many another affinity group. So a good place to hang out and practice the ancient art of bar room philosophy. Food looks good although mixed reports on that - companion's lasagna looked like toad in the hole, but there again how should it look? Good selection of... More

Lovely old historic building full of character and very relaxing. We only had drinks there but the selection was excellent including proper beer (our preference over fizzy lager!) The food people ordered seemed very good (you have to look don't you) Artists appear to exhibit their work and items are for sale, there were pictures I would have liked to... More

I searched everywhere in Oxford for a venue with a private room to host my friends and I for a few hours, with not much joy. Luckily I then discovered The Jam Factory: the staff were very helpful in arranging details prior to the event, on the day they absolutely bent over backwards to cater to our every request and... We went for a Birthday lunch and decided to order the set menu. The service was a little slow, we didn't get all the food we ordered, the dessert was burnt, it was not the worst ever, but there were enough things to take the shine off the experience. I thought the décor was a little in need of a... More

A slightly quirky cafe restaurant with an art theme. Actual exhibition area was not being used at the time, but this was still a very good stop. Good food. Pleasant bright surroundings - white washed walls, big plants, art etc. five for a fiver is a great choice - tasty fresh food, quite small. Portions, but just great value -... More

Slightly difficult to find parking nearby without paying over £5 for 2 hours, but glad we went. Selection of 5 lunchtime dishes for £5 was a good selection - waiter was friendly, and food was good - would def return

We went to the Jam Factory having read the reviews on trip advisor. It was very disappointing. Looked promising when we arrived. The waitress told us the vegetarian soup of the day was carrot and maple syrup, sounded interesting, 2 of us chose it. The waitress had failed to mention it was pretty spicy, not a clue from the description,... More
