Great atmosphere

We would really recommended this place! The food is good, as well as the service. Outside there is a lovely kind of garden, and the inside is spacious, bright and cosy.

I visited on a Sunday as part of a large group of couples with small children. We all travelled from at least an hour away and had selected this place purely on the website. We had checked the children's menu in particular. We ordered drinks first, which took a long time to arrive. We were not given a children's menu... More

Had lunch here with a work colleague - the place is a bright, open cafe near the train station, which served as a good location for a working lunch. Our food was tasty and reasonably priced (£6-8/meal), but the service was fairly poor - my coffee was forgotten, we had to get our own menus for lunch as we got... More

Food ok, service a bit haphazard, I got the impression that they were having a bad day. We did complain and the manager responded favourably and knocked several items of the bill. The building is fun with an interesting history, Oxford Marmelade was made there. I would probably give the Jam Factory another chance as I feel that it could... More

Went in here on a whim for lunch and really glad we did. I had a great chickpea vegie burger and the best coffee I've had in a while. My partner enjoyed his (meat) burger too. The outdoor area is lovely on a nice day and the staff were very nice.

I was cycling along the canals and came upon this place. Very well maintained and very pleasant slightly quirky atmosphere. Good wifi. Very very good food, delightful staff who gave great advice and were fun.

I was looking for a venue close to Oxford rail station and this popped up when I searched on google maps. The website looked interesting and the place was as quirky in the flesh as it seemed on the website. Great place, good coffee and good beers with plenty of space to relax and meet and talk.

An interesting combination of food and art works. The ambience is a little clinical inside but, if you are a smoker, or want fresh air like we did, there is seating outside. The menu was adequate, prices reasonable, service good but the entree arrived at the same time was the mains. Loved the Çotswold IPA, delightful hint of elderflower on... More
