Offers brunch but no full English?......mmmmm

Food was ok, nothing outstanding, the place is really nice. But the offers for brunch are very limited and lets be honest, 90% of people think about a full English when you say brunch....and they dont have it....so.....

I have been underwhelmed by The Jam Factory which is very popular. It's prices and I have never been impressed by any meal I've had there.

Main courses were average at best - definitely in need of some extra dressing and sauces. The desserts sounded delicious, but were absolutely minuscule when they arrived. I would love to comment on the "service", but it was essentially non-existent. We twice had to go up to the bar to ask for a waiter to be sent to our table,... More

Having popped in for food on a solo trip to Oxford, I took my Husband here on a more recent weekend away. It's got a really nice feel to it and a lovely atmosphere, with some quicky features. There is a good range of both food and drink available- I like the fact that it serves as both a coffee... More

Had a wonderful meal for four a few years ago and based on this - and its closeness to the railway station - decided to give it another go. Sadly not a patch on its former self - or maybe just an off-day. The wine we wanted was not available; of the five desserts on offer two were not available... More

Quality of food was good but the service was terrible. Our waitress barely spoke and when she did we could hardly hear her as she spoke so quietly. We had to ask for drinks and twice had to ask for condiments for the meal. We waited and waited for our main course plates to be cleared and order deserts. The... More

Visited with my son and daughter for a lunchtime catch up when we could all be in the area. Very convenient to the rail station. Relaxed atmosphere with good food and excellent coffee. As some others have noted the service wasn't super fast however that was perfect for us and is what I prefer when I go out to eat.... More

This is a quirky and atmospheric arts center and restaurant, very close to the train station in Oxford, and just a step away from all town center attractions. The food, the staff and the service is great, you can choose from light bites and proper lunch etc, and they also have a variety of great tea! They have three different... More

The Jam Factory in Oxford, England, is a small, nondescript restaurant near the train depot. It is not a feast for the eyes, though they have a small, rotating display of paintings and photographs. Though we visited twice in early October, 2015, I can only report on the pork chops because they were so good I ordered them again on... More
