If you like decent portions of good unpretentious 'home cooked' style food, the nosebag is for you. Small number of choices but its everything I love! They have additional choices during the evening if you fancy an informal dinner with friends.

Popped in for a quick cup of tea and a rest from sightseeing bought a scone and tea for two bit pricey at £7.05 but it had cream and jam, the scones were dry and hard definitely not fresh the pot of tea for two was large and so heavy I could hardly lift it filled to the brim making... More

I visited this restaurant with a friend who had eaten here on a few occasions and the food was good with large helpings and plenty of choice. There was plenty of choice for vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs and meat eaters so, something for everyone. I recommend the lime & mint soda which was very refreshing on what was a very hot... More

Been visiting the Nosebag now for about 30 years and it always delivers. Whilst some restaurants feel the need to update and change all the time, the Nosebag has stayed more or less the same during all this time, which keeps bringing me back. Good food, had another great quiche and salad, and good atmosphere. Quite unique. Very relaxing and... More

Pleasant enough service, nice aged interior... and most importantly good tasty food - I had the vegan green lentil curry, which was served generously with my choice of two salads - order at the counter!

I've always liked the salad selection here but its now possible to get take out, brilliant. A box of four salads for under £5, before this place was more of a lunch treat as most meals are nearly £10. I'll still eat in sometimes but I'll definitely be going more often now to get take away

Walk up a flight of stairs into a tiny little reception area, where you look into a deli case at several gorgeous salads to choose from. Everything I tasted was absolutely delicious and, I believe, home made. (so many places just order in cole slaw and other salads from large companies). The food was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is... More

A cosy place, the people, the quantity/quality of food is satisfactory. The food seems a mix of Asian(malasian/thai) and European cuisine.

You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner here. Delicious, vegetarian and healthy non-veg offerings, with choice of salad. Fresh soup made daily with whole-grain bread, great choice of desserts or scones, jacket potatoes with fillings & many other tasty treats. This is also near the shopping and sights, with quick cafeteria style service.
