I booked a table for over 30 guests for a big celebration. We were sent out a menu and needed to pre-order and pay a deposit due to the size of the party. 2 weeks before the event, I had a phonecall from the manager to say they had to cancel our booking as they were having refurbishments. I struggle... More

Had meal here this week. Restaurant was quiet but service was slow. Waiting staff fairly friendly, but could do better. Food was okay although some of my fellow diners were unhappy with the small size of some of the portions. Some music was playing but couldn't make it out - just an annoying noise. Will not be rushing back.

I visited the place with four friends and we each ordered a different plate + some starters. First, it took very long, Second, the quality, specially of the meat was not good at all, and we where charged 40$ per person..without wine or dessert. Not worth it

Before we went, I informed the restaurant that my visit was to celebrate my 40th birthday with some of my family. They said they would do something for my birthday but when we got there, my birthday wasn't even mentioned. I feel I was given an empty promise. The food and service was good, but there was no effort made... More

Food to die for! Me and my partner were blown away. Cocktails great and the young lady who was looking after us was amazing. Beautiful looking place. 75 pounds we paid for u two after loads of cocktails and 3 courses each. Recommend to all!

Lovely lovely food- I was treating my boyfriend to dinner for his 21st and went for the special menu, with cocktails beforehand. The food was so posh and value for money, very enjoyable. We sat outside in the sunshine (as it was August) so lovely surroundings (apart from a couple of annoying wasps!). Great service, even though our receipt was... More

We decided to have lunch during a shopping trip to Oxford, being a fan of the Living Room in Birmingham and having visited here a couple of years ago decided on here today. I ordered the steak frites, with peppercorn sauce and my wife ordered the chicken pie. We also ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio @ £21.50 a bottle.... More

Oxford is full of restaurants and bars, but I haven't had better food anywhere else in a long time, service was not only speedy but friendly, and the cocktails were incredible! I've since been back in for after work drinks and nibbles, once again I was impressed. I'd recommend the Livingroom for any occasion!

We have just visited as a birthday lunch for my mum with my dad brother sister in law and their 3 young children. We had the private room and although our waitress really tried she was not supported by her manager or the kitchen. Staters tasted good but only 6 arrived then 10 minutes later the other 3 arrived. No... More

Yes but small portion sizes and waited such a long time to be served although it wasn't even that busy. Food was good as was the cocktails but thought it was overpriced for what it was.
