The decor and furniture are beautiful. Food is excellent and atmosphere is lovely. Had several meals here and every one as good as the last.

6 of us, on business, chose Bangkok House for dinner. Service was impeccable, and all the dishes were fabulous. If you're wanting to try the Thai beer, Chang, be sure to order a half tower.

Came for dinner with a group of friends. One of the best Thai meals I've ever had. To start I had some spring rolls and bean curd dumplings. Spring rolls were tasy, dumplings were a bit bland. My chicken pad Thai for mains was outstanding. Honestly one of the tastiest noodle dishes I've ever had. Could easily have had another... More

This was my first try at Pad Thai and I could not have picked a better spot. The atmosphere was beautiful; the tables and decorations were great. The food itself was delicious and quality. The staff were friendly. There were people in the restaurant giving it a welcoming atmosphere. It's a short walk from the YHA youth hostel.

Came here on a Saturday night without reservation - luckily they could squeeze in a table for 2. I love Thai food and the decoration of this place is stunning - the detailing on the furniture is beautiful! Service was potentially a little slow, but they were clearly busy and working hard, not a problem at all. Starters were great... More

The food was nice but not hot . the furniture and atmosphere was lovely. The prices of the drinks was awful .my son bought a coke which the bar person poured out of a quite clearly labeled multi pack 39p and then charged him £2.50 .the toilets were unhygienic the hand dryer was broken and there was a dirty towel... Make no mistake, this place has a great reputation and every time I visit the food is flavoursome and authentic. Our most recent visit last week was on a Thursday night , the place was fairly busy (about half full) however it took about 15 minutes to take our drinks order, and we didn't get the normal complimentary bowl of... I've tried all the Thai restaurants in Oxford and Bangkok House remains my absolute favourite. I've been coming here for 10+ years and every single time it has never failed me or whoever I've taken here. The furniture is very unique and is imported directly from Thailand, the level of detail on the wood is astonishing. The stuffed chicken wings... More

We were visiting Oxford last Friday and met up with my son, a local, who suggested here, as he had been before! Great choice! Good plentiful food and good service! Hope to go again next time we visit Oxford.

Lovely decorated restaurant, we were lucky to get a table on Saturday evening as we didn't book. Staff were great and very friendly, although we had 2 people taking our order, so not great communication! Spring rolls for starter but they were tiny and not worth the money! The mains came within 10 minutes and were gorgeous! I had the... More
