Spent an hour or so in here to dodge the heavy rain and ended up staying one Guinness longer than planned! As with most Wetherspoons the beer was good, served by nice smiley bar staff. We didn't eat here but the food being served to others looked decent enough. Worth a visit - whether it's raining or not!

This pub is great, its ideally situated in the middle of Henley, we always stop off here before our walk down the bank of the thames to the rewind festival. The food is great, well cooked, quick and good prices. It is very busy but always a great atmosphere. Staff lovely too.

We popped in here for breakfast during the recent Rewind weekend so it was bursting at the seams with customers hungry for a full breakfast. Service was prompt and the influx of customers was dealt with swiftly. I had the healthy option of fruit and yoghurt and a round of toast. However, the toast was cold and the butter was... More

Called in on a Saturday evening for a quick meal on the way home. Quite a few people in although I have seen it a lot busier. Food arrived fairly quickly but not as ordered. As luck would have it, at that moment a smartly dressed member of staff walked passed. From the way he was dressed I would expect... More

The hotel accommodation had clean, comfy, quiet rooms with tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water and biscuits. The food in the pub downstairs was good value but the bar was understaffed so service was a little slow.

No shortage of space to sit and different areas that would suit most people e.g. bar, quiet, near TV Good range on the menu what you would expect from a Wetherspoons. Food served with a smile, hot and in very good time. Good location as near the river for a walk afterwards.

"But if you try sometimes, you get what you need" The Catherine Wheel is a massive hotel-pub right in the centre of Henley on Thames. The food is basic Weatherspoon's grub. Service is often pushed to the limit and the youngsters serving their do their best. The crowd eating here on a Friday or Saturday end up staying at the... More

A trip to Henley on one of the hottest days of the year and stop off at Wetherspoons for lunch. It is curry Thursday so I choose the Chicken Korma plus a free drink. My wife chooses from the grill with a rump steak (again with a free drink). We opted for a dessert each and the total bill was... More
