Good Brekkie

Cheap and tasty Brekkie. My friend and I had eggs benedict and my boyfriend had a large Breakfast. Not sure id fancy drinking in there during the evening to be honest. It's not the nicest Wetherspoons I've seen. Was a very big pub and looked a bit run down.

Nicer than the normal Weatherspoons, but wouldn't really order food here other than nibbles on a night out. Used to be a good place to go out, but over the past few years it has gone downhill. During the regatta, they charge to get in (this is a Weatherspoons...) and have horrible security guards who rude and treat the customers... More

First visit was on a Friday evening and it looked pretty dead inside so we thought it might be a nice spot for a quiet drink. It was just that until they turned the music up. Not sure why they did this because the place was virtually empty, save for a gaggle of middle aged folk and a few bored... More

We were staying at the adjoining hotel and ate here a couple of times. The eating area is clean and vast, so it would need to be very busy if you were unable to find a table. The menu is typical 'pub' menu, fine for no frills family dinning with reasonable prices. Service was prompt and friendly. We couldn't fault... More

Typical weatherspoons food. Great prices for decent food. Staff were friendly. Steak night on Tuesday was outstanding

As with most Wetherspoons, the Catherine Wheel offers no surprises. The food is nice, but not amazing in any way, and the same can be said for the service. We go most times when we visit Henley, but because its cheap, not because its a brilliant place to go. If you want low cost food that is better than fast... More

Just popped in here for a quick drink. It was a bit busy but we were served promptly and the service was friendly. Never eaten in here but hope to next time we pop in.

Comfortable enough, sat on a sofa and had the Friday fish'n'chips, and a pint or two. I wish they'd tell you what fish it was. Actually it's pretty good to have somewhere in Henley to eat simply and cheaply, and for the money it was fine. Really.

The price is about the only thing I could say was going for this place. The drinks are OK, although the white wine a freind had was not cold enough, the service was mediocre at best and the food seemed bland

I went here with my son for a meal out and that is what we had. The food was good and came out remarkably quickly. However we were overcharged because each item was charged separately and not as part of a combo deal. When this was pointed out later on, we received an apology, a refund and a free drink.... More
