Friendly welcome and service throughout, however the food was poor, both main courses very sweet even though neither stated coconut content. We basically decided as we were on a rare night away from the kids not to make a fuss and paid the bill and left.

Having lived in the town for many years I can honestly say that this so called Indian restaurant is still as bad as it ever was. The menu never resembles what ends up on ones plate. Truly awful.

Previous experiences have been excellent but this time was a real let down. Staff were ok on arrival but very disorganised took to long to get a drink and order, when we did make our order they forgot things and kept forgetting us then repeating in between courses it was coming. Food was dry and poppadoms were stale, main was... More

Visited on a Wednesday night at about 8pm. The restaurant, which is now known as The Spice of India, was very quiet. We were made very welcome and seated immediately. The menu is reasonably extensive and there are some house specials, most of which signify the degree of heat to expect in the dish. Cobra beer is on draft. Starters... More

Amazing indian food in the heart of the Cotswolds, true to its origins. Chapatis, samosas and curries to enjoy slowly. Let them advise you on the options, they know what you'll like.

I went here late with my family and didn't have the highest expectations. Unfortunately I was not pleasantly surprised. The food was just okay, and while the service was fine, the whole place felt a little dusty. It was fine, but not something I will seek out again.

Have eaten here or had a take away numerous times since it opened. Never had a bad meal yet and service is always good but maybe a little too overpowering sometimes. If you eat of the main menu there is a good selection at reasonable prices and something to suit everyone. The buffet is slightly limited when I compare it... More

I've been working in the area for 3 weeks now and had a sit in meal the first week I was here. I found the food very nice and have returned twice for a take outs since. The staff are polite but do try sell extras but do not push when declined. The food has been very nice all 3... More
