A very good daytime spot with a friendly atmosphere

Food always interesting and well done, and often nicely off-beat; try the toasted panettone or the lunch specials. Service always friendly, whether for mother and baby or knitting groups, couples or singles.

Stopped off for breakfast post Feastival. 10 of us in total, and given the variety of orders and requests from small children we were served pretty promptly. Everyone enjoyed their food, the café has a lovely atmosphere and makes a great coffee!

Food always tasty and properly made, and the homemade cakes are exceptional, the wonderfully gooey, crispy-topped almond and blueberry is my favourite! Dogs, walkers, cyclists, children, all welcomed with a smile. And the best breakfasts including the nostalgic boiled eggs and marmite soldiers. And no we aren't related to the owners, it just is our favourite cafe in Chipping Norton.

First visit to this cafe and coffee shop. We had coffee and scones.Scones arrived nicely warmed and looked homemade.Very nice.Varied menu of cakes, sandwiches and meals. Only dislike about here was the toilet which you reached through the kitchen. Not sure why this was acceptable.

My daughter and I visited today and we were pleasantly surprised. The young chap serving was friendly and courteous, the selection on the menu was incredible and the selection of drinks should cover all preferences. The drinks are reasonably priced for the area and my daughter has the homemade carrot and walnut cake. It was sublime, lovely and moist and... More

Just read some disgusting reviews, these are probably from disgusting people with no manners, this is a nice friendly place with nice staff. We have visited loads of times and never had a problem, the idiots that post bad reviews on here are depriving McDonalds of a profit, it's nice they won't be visiting again as it keeps the place... Took my mum here for a light lunch out and unfortunately was very disappointed. Service was almost embarrassing. The young blonde waitress who served us was abrupt and didn't smile when she greeted us, took our orders or put our food down. She and the other young waitress stood talking, laughing and acting the fool behind the counter in full... More

We visited chipping norton and fell in love! We went into number 46 cafe & OMG amazing!!! We ordered carrot cake, cappuccino, white coffee & yoghurt flapjack. As I work in a cafe I'm the first one to check & see what the quantity is like, how tasty the cakes are & service! This time I was impressed... Really impressed... More
