Eaten here numerous times and always have something I could complain about, warm wine/beer, hard eggs that should be soft, bad steak, all minor things that often you let go but big factor is SERVICE!! Food hit and miss often one good course one ok nice food when good but service lets them down massively! Made to feel in the... More

Really enjoyed our meal, had the fig & stilton pizzarette as a starter to share which was very tasty. Chargrilled Chicken breast & slow cooked belly pork which were equally delicious. Staff friendly & attentive - couldn't fault it and pleasantly surprised with the bill!

We ordered two pizzas, which were delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I'm sure I will be back!

The food was mixed - some dishes were excellent but some were a little disappointing. It seemed like the cookery skills were very advanced - for example my sea bream was cooked to perfection - but the other elements of the meal didn't quite work together. Not always a bad thing though - I relish the chance to be critical... More

10 of us, all male, arrived at 8.30 on a busy Saturday night and all of whom were probably on the wrong side of sober (it was the FA cup final day) but we were greeted warmly. From start to finish Jane and Tom looked after us with style, charm and good humour and I think that was probably a... More

Very impressed with Whistlers. Great buzz and atmosphere, attentive service and lovely food. Apologies to other diners, as our large table of 12 was more than a little 'raucous'. Could not fault, Whistlers at all. Genuinely had a superb evening.

I booked for a party of friends on a gold weekend and from the start the owner of the restaurant was very helpful. When we arrived some of our party had been enjoying themselves in the local pubs and i think we increased the over-all volume of the dining room to 'beyond comfortable' for some of the other diners. The... More

It's some years since I ate in this venue - in a previous incarnation it was a pure Italian restaurant and we were pleased to see there was some evidence of Italian food on the menu - but much more besides. We went on a busy Thursday evening and hadn't booked. Even at 7.00 there was a lovely buzz about... More

Elegant and exceptional value food in a brilliant relaxed setting with charming and attentive staff. Only downside was the pizzas weren't available, so we are just going to have to go back
