We have eaten here on a number of occasions and every time we have enjoyed the meal. On this occasion we had the Sunday Lunch. The menu is quite small with the traditional options for lunch, however the food was cooked to a high standard and tasted delicious. The tables are attractively laid with pristine white cloths and napkins. The... More

Under new Management this has become a "Jewel in the Cotswolds Crown". The lunch time special is excellent, good value and always served with a smile. In the summer the setting in the garden overlooking the river is stunning. It is where the locals go which is a sure good sign.

We stayed 1 night of a long weekend service was welcoming and professional ,rooms typical for these type of buildings ,creaky floors and no straight walls its lovely. The restaurant food was very good and excellent value for this area.loved the garden and large lawn area wish we had stayed longer.

This is the third time we have eaten in the Mill House restaurant in the last three months. All birthday treats. The service is friendly and courteous. The food is excellent and consistently good. The three course fixed price menu is very good and plenty of choice. We shall return!

I have been to the mill house on a number of occasions. Having arrived at lunchtime on a Saturday, we were told that there would be no food served due to their hosting a wedding reception. No food at all, not even a sandwich! I am afraid that their attitude very much seems to be that if they are catering... More

We had a terrific Sunday lunch here in March 2014 - the food was absolutely perfectly cooked - spot on roast beef and yorkshire pud - and the service was friendly and efficient. The Mill has been taken over and re-furbed beautifully and is a family run establishment which shows in the care taken over every detail. MUCH better value... More

The setting is ideal for a leisurely midweek lunch either in the bar or on the terrace (if the sun is shining). The bar tables were full when we arrived (always a good sign) with pensioners lunching. The 3 course menu with 3 choices for each was £16. The starters included a very smooth tomato and red pepper soup, pate... More
