Great pub with a wide range of food. Tuesday any Burger and a pint for £10. tables outside and a restaurant inside. Live music Mondays and Wednesdays and a local darts team. It's not called the "world famous" Cotswold Arms for nothing!

We went here as the board outside advertised a beautiful patio garden and the billing 'World Famous'. On entering it looks an average pub nothing more. So we ordered our drinks from a rather characterless young lady and asked if we could sit in the garden ' Yes' she replyed without telling us how to get there. So after asking... More

The Cotswold Arms was one of my favorite pubs in the entire Cotswold area. A small historic pub to enjoy a pint of your favorite beer, ale or cider. Friendly service. Our party only had several pints and did not have anything to eat , but their lunch specials looked very good.

Spent 5 days camping just outside Burford and were delighted that just about all of the pubs welcome dogs (a must if it rains, which it did several times during our stay). Popped into the Cotswold Arms to escape a sudden downpour and ended up staying put for about 2.5 hours. Very much enjoyed it, so we came back for... More

On a busy Saturday at the end of May Bank Holiday week four couples found a nice quiet retreat in the Cotswalds Arms. As said it was a nice retreat from the busy coming and goings of the main road through Burford. Have to say though, that despite the service being excellent, not all enjoyed the food experience. That said,... More

On our way back from seeing friends in Cheltenham the night before, we stopped off at historic Burford for brunch, a quaint medieval town in the Cotswolds. As we drove down the High Street to find someone to park, I was drawn to the Cotswold Inn, a beautiful old building which I felt sure would offer some good food. I... More

Having enjoyed a meal here earlier in the month, we returned and found it to be just as good the second time. The food is excellent, the prices (for the Cotswolds) reasonable, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the pub itself is very characterful.

The cost of a one course roast dinner was £12.95 - no roast potatoes available, the Yorkshire pudding was inedible and the gravy was mainly lumps in a little liquid. At our request they did reduce the cost slightly but should never have served such a poor meal at all. The vegetables were fine.
