A really good full English breakfast and very reasonable. A lot of breakfast options on the menu and an extra pot of water with your tea. Also very child friendly.

Came here with my husband and our toddler daughter after setting up our trailer tent at a nearby campsite. As it was mid afternoon, we ordered the cream tea and it was lovely, served with a large warm scone and plenty of jam and clotted cream to go with. Its a very relaxing and pretty place to have a rest.

My friend and i passed the Priory to see a young couple outside tucking into a hearty and I say HEARTY full english. I asked if this was really the £4.95 breakfast?. Having said yes my friend dragged me in! I couldn't believe the value. When ours came and I tasted the food it was amazing. However to improve....the egg... More

Very pleasant little place serving really tasty food. The service was prompt and delivered in a courteous way. We didn't have any main courses but the plates of food we saw being served looked top class.

Stayed at the Priory for three days and was very pleased with all aspects .The room was clean, well presented and located in the delightful courtyard. Breakfasts were excellent and the staff to be congratulated on their friendly and efficient manner.

Visited here on 13th August for lunch. We sat in the lovely secluded courtyard at the back of the building which was full of flowers and honey bees. I had a jacket potato with tuna and mayonnaise accompanied by a nice fresh salad. My husband had a tuna baguette with a side portion of chips which were lovely and fresh.... More

Incredible full English breakfast with perfectly broiled tomato halves, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, local sausage, bacon AND ham. They even had gluten free bread. A cup of tea topped it off. Just perfect on a rainy England morning.

What a place. This is the oldest inn still standing! What a place. Definately worth a stop. We stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. Coach loads of tourists though! But I suppose it was to be expected!

It was a lovely sunny Sunday morning and we set out for breakfast at Priory. We were taken by friends who had been before and said it was good. The English breakfast was indeed very good, served on a hot plate; attention to detail. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had to wait longer than expected for a toast order;... More
