Pleasant enough for light food. Can feel a bit crowded at peak times. Food is acceptable enough and fairly priced.

Stopped off mid sightseeing for an afternoon coffee and cake. Good service, very pleasant cakes and decent prices. Worth a visit - the lemon drizzle was lovely.

Lovely place to eat, fabulous location and great inside. Staff are great, very helpful & friendly. Fabulous find and nice to relax in after a trip exploring surrounding areas. Doesn't get much better than this. Will definitely re-visit in the Spring/Summer. May stay over as it operates a B&B as well.

We've been here for lunch twice and both times the meal was very good and the service was friendly. The prices are lower than most places to eat in the main street. If you normally go to Huffkins try this place instead - it is far superior. We both had the ham, egg and chips which was all fresh and... More

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. The waiter had an extraordinary haircut which may put some people off. His high level of service and sense of fun despite being so obviously under pressure made the visit a real please. Food was above average tea shop fare.

This delightful gem is situated in the heart of a little town called Burford, in Oxfordshire. Being around half-way from home (Leicestershire) and down south it was a perfect place to meet up with some family on a warm Autumn Saturday. Beware, food prices in Burford are generally on the pricey side, and not for the budget-conscious but you get... More

Sad to say, we have only ever been here for breakfast and each time we have been here, it has been grey value, tasty and served by some of the friendliest staff we have come across for a long time. I really can't think of a better reason to heading over to Burford.
