Have visited this tea room many, many times and it’s always excellent. We also occasionally visit Huffkins in Stow-on-the-Wold and Witney, but the specials in Burford always seem better and have always been delicious, so this is the favourite lunch venue when in the area. The previous reviewer wishing for table service obviously used the cafeteria and perhaps was unaware... More

Was able to sit in the rear courtyard and enjoy a light lunch. You have to order at the counters inside, collect your drinks etc and wait. Table service is the only thing missing but I guess they've been operating like this for ages and it does create it's own character.

My Partner and I decided on a visit to Burford and we always like to try out different places for coffee and cake. We decided on Huffkins. The staff were friendly and it was busy but we got a table straight away. I just wanted a scone and coffee (I like trying out the scones in different places). My partner... More

Popped in here en route to an exhibition nearby and have to say that me and my friend were really impressed and pleased we picked Huffkins to go for our lunch. The cafe itself is beautifully decorated, the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, and the food was just wonderful. We enjoyed a chicken and crispy bacon sandwich and a... More

On visiting Burford popped into Huffkins as it looked busy which is usually a good sign. Had a toasted sandwich and scones which were all wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. A little expensive but well worth it.

I felt very cheated having wasted money on something that was not at all enjoyable. My husband and I were visiting The Cotswolds for the weekend and decided to have a coffee at Huffkins in Burford. We ordered 2 coffees and a scone with jam and cream each. The picture of the jam and cream scone shown is not at... More

Chanced upon this on a rainy day in the delightful town of Burford- really pleased with our find. We had a window seat so could watch the world go by and ordered soup and sandwiches. The soup of the day was pea and mint with croutons and it was thick, green and delicious. The sandwiches were fresh, well filled and... More

We went for lunch-the waitress kept getting our order mixed up. We had quiche and salad and said that we didn't want chips. The quiche was hot and a very small portion-we were not asked how we preferred it (it was a hot day and we would have preferred cold quiche). The green salad was a few leaves, nothing else,... More

I send all my tour customers to Huffkins to get sandwiches and scrummy cakes and cookies to eat on their journey.
