Well worth the wait

With little competition in Burford High Street, we managed to get into this busy little tea shop at the second attempt, only two of us, but larger parties would have a longer wait as there are often queues here at most times of the day. We enjoyed our visit, there was a good choice of light... read more

We called in on a Sunday lunchtime. We waited for about 5 mins then got shown to a table in the corner. We had between us Tea, Coffee, milkshake, dry scones, dry Lardy cake, dry biscuits and dry Bakewell tart in a foil dish. None of it was on the right side of average. £26 as well. I'd like to... We found this unique and vibrant place in the heart of Burford on a rainy day in March. We absolutely loved it from the very first second. Its unique design, cozy atmosphere and top -quality service made that one of the best brunch I've ever had. The staff were so friendly and served our order quickly and efficiently. The scones... We were passing Burford on the way home, so decided to stop off for breakfast. This is a gem, a really comfortable place with a great ambience. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food is spectacular - I had the full English Breakfast and would definitely have it again. I really recommend this place for those who want... More

Popped in via our way home from a weekend away in winchcombe. Have been here on previous occasions but this time we found the coffee very weak My husband had a slice of cake which he said very dry and I had a Bakewell tart which was so so dry. It wasn't busy but we waited 20 minutes We paid... More

The food and service were top rate. The staff pleasant and attentive without being familiar. The Cotswold rarebit and the lamb baguette perfectly presented with quality fillings. All round we would heartily recommend a visit.

I've been back in the States just a few days, and I've already perused Huffkins' website, checking to see if I could purchase some of the delish tea that I had during my visit last week. Of course, I took some Cotswolds Fruits tea home with me, but I can already tell that it's not going to last very long!... More

We visited huffkins mid-afternoon on a Saturday in February. It was busy but there were seats available at the front. However we were advised that because we had a child we couldn't be seated at the front and had to wait for a seat at the rear (apparently due to health and safety). The service staff were rushed and appeared... More

We had the lardy to share and hot chocolate which came with cream and marshmallows which at £9.99 is a good buy even though there were only 5 mini marshmallows each!
