Yet another good Indian on Maid Marian Way

With Cumin, 4550 Miles from Delhi, Laguna, Culcutta Club and MemSaab all serving up a great curry on Maid Marian way it seemed about time to cross the road and give Chutney a try. I went here with my sister with a living social deal giving us a curry, rice and poppadoms for £12. The poppadoms were lovely as was the naan. I would say that the curries were average although there was plenty. What I think let the place down is the service - we couldn't pay for extra food on a card... More

We tried this place as we'd seen on line that you can request a fifty percent discount card. This meant that the price was very low so I wasn't expecting anything special. But the food was great and the service was excellent. Busy place on a Saturday - definitely worth booking!

The food was good enough, the service fine and the red wine portions very generous, but I'm not sure why this place charges so much. It's fine enough, I enjoyed the food, but it's nothing special. Well the name is quite cool, I suppose there's that

Have taken my son here on a couple of occasions recently when visiting him at Uni and it's a very decent place, despite a fairly uninviting, brightly lit, appearance. The curries are tasty, with tender lamb and chicken, and the fixed price £14.95 deal is fair value in a location close to a number of more expensive Indian restaurants. The... More

I have at least one curry per week, and often have the same mild dish in places all over the UK. After a rocky start, with an expensive miss-interpreted starter the manager took it off the bill and was more than attentive and friendly. The main dishes were delicious and very well portioned. Thanks again, see you when I am... More

Doesn't look like much from the outside......quite uninviting to be honest for a curry house but surprisingly quite good.....very friendly staff and the food was good. Had the Lamb Ceylon which was hot but very tasty and my colleagues had various dishes which were very well presented and very tasty too. The saver/value menu is excellent value for money offering... Visited chutney’s in Nottingham last weekend with a group of my ex uni friends and we all had a really good meal. We all agreed it was the best Indian meal ever. We eat Indian food regular and therefore appreciate quality when we taste it. I ordered the chicken tawa and it was delicious, some of my friends had the... More

Lovely food as always, staff were friendly as always, we were going to use our taste card/gourmet society card to get half price but there was already a brilliant deal which was £12/13 for poppadoms and dips/mixed starter/any main course with rice/naan. Big portions Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!
