We took our 6 year old grandson because I saw they had an indoor play area and the weather was unpredictable. As it was it was very warm and humid. The Play Zone was a separate area from the main bar/restaurant and when we arrived there were plenty of tables in the restaurant but we couldn't have one because they... More

Unfortunately, The. Bridge burned down just before Xmas 2013. No sign of any rebuilding yet. I'll post again when it's open again.

Called into the Bridge on Sunday lunchtime as it was convenient and the overall experience was not bad. Given that this was nothing more than basic pub dining and the prices were very reasonable on the 2 for 1 deal (but expensive if you're on your own!) I came away happy. The standard of the food was reasonable, the service... More

Visited Sunday pm and the food and service were second to none . Food looked higher price at first but all on 2 for 1 so not too bad . Staff very attentive and when we found a small piece of plastic on plate they were very apologetic and didn't charge for desserts. ours .

I do keep trying the Bridge .Constantly disappointed. Elderly mother likes it as its routine. I appreciate its 2 for 1 but the prices if you dine alone! Whey over priced. Its very poor food indeed. Great shame as it has such potential as a family pub.The space, location ect. Only saving grace is the senior waitress with black hair.Very smiley.

The worst Sunday lunch ever on 29th September. Terrible service, awful food, some just plain inedible unless you like burnt and/or grease-soaked food. Here is a sample: 1. We had to chase up our order after waiting over half an hour. 2. Four of the Yorkshire puddings were significantly burnt, one totally inedible. 3. The roast potatoes were not roasted.... More

Took my two kids for lunch, took 15 minutes to take our orders and half an hour for it to arrive, kids desserts took 20 minutes to arrive! All in all a quick lunch stop took an hour and a half!

The meals are not good enough quality for the price. They need to take more care in frying food ,change the oil more often and use better meat. I know that this is "pub food" but a lot of restaurant in the area do it better.

Tried the bridge despite our last visit being so horrendous and I wish we hadn't bothered. Itbwas extremely quiet in the pub when we went for dinner yet the service was still so slow. Food came out limp and lifeless and despite being 2 4 1 I was still shocked at the bill price. This place needs managers that actually... More
