We arrived about 8.30 on Sunday evening without a booking, and we were lucky to get a table as the restaurant was pretty full. We had passed several other restaurants in Nottingham that were completely empty, a sign that this place is doing something right. I had seen lots of positive reviews, and I can totally agree with them. The... More

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. They don't take lunch bookings so we turned up on spec at 12.20 and were told that there would be a 40 min wait. We decided to come back later and at 1.15 we only had to wait for 10 mins for a table. It was well worth the short wait... More

I eat often at Le Bistro Pierre with both family and groups of friends as it's so reliable for quality of food and service as well as being tremendous value for money. My sons are ferociously hungry carnivores and they always come out satisfied and happy. As a group of friends it's often our first port of call. Well done... More

Visited this delightful bistro on a very busy midweek lunchtime. My advice book a table and opt for one on the edge of the dining area. The tables are very close and it's quite possible to come into someone else's bubble. However the meal was well prepared and the wait was not too long despite the number of potential covers.... We booked a table here ( and glad we did, as the place was buzzing) on Sunday 7th February, as we were in Nottingham on a short business trip from the South Coast. The building, an old bank, I think, was beautifully decorated and very sympathetically retaining a lot of the original features - ok, maybe not the money!! We... More

We were visiting Nottingham as our son is at University there and we wanted to try somewhere different (from the local student haunts) so we ate here. We have tried to eat here before on a Saturday evening but more often than not its fully booked up. Therefore my wife rang around mid day to ascertain if we could get... More

Our second visit to this establishment and well worth it was too. The place is obviously popular as we had to queue along with other diners to get a table, even after 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. Very nice food, very attentive service and very reasonable prices too, £8.95 for one course, £10.95 for two courses and I think £12.95... More

Only recently discovered this lovely restaurant and was happy to pay a return lunch time visit. The experience was just as good as the first time. Friendly, efficient, excellent food and very good service. Can't wait to go again.

We were visiting Nottingham and prebooked this restaurant as we have been before on a lunchtime. It gets very busy. We had an evening meal last night. We were seated straight away. Some of the tables are a bit cramped downstairs especially those in the centre area of the room. I had a whole baked Camembert for my main meal... More
