The Larder on Goosegate offers one of the top dining experiences in the Nottingham City Centre. The room is grown-up and elegant and the vibe is gourmet dining. The food has been consistently excellent during our last three visits, and the service is skilled and friendly. The pre-theatre meal prefix is incredibly well-priced, and the A la Carte menu boasts... More

Booked via email for a group of 8. Correspondence with Ewan was very quick. Good quality food, nicely presented and excellent value for a city centre restaurant. Service was very good. Highly recommended.

We had a friend staying with us from the South Wed and decided to take her out on Saturday night. We had never been here, but had heard good reviews of the place. We were given a table in the window, so we could watch the comings & goings in this busy part of town. The food was very good... More

On this trip to Nottingham we were looking for a restaurant that offers something a little bit different, we found it in the Larder on Goosegate. Table booked for 8.15 we arrived five minutes early expecting to wait as the restaurant was very busy. To our pleasant surprise we were taken to our table straight away with a genuine friendly... Wonderfully creative modern British food. Apparently this restaurant is a favourite of Jamie Oliver and his crew when in town. For us, this one of the best restaurants in the area, and very reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

Second trip to The Larder and brought my parents who were visiting from out of town. Had a great time: lively atmosphere, steak to-die-for and the wine was fantastic (can't remember its name- probably should be more moderate!) Anyway, we all enjoyed it and I'll definitely come back for the odd special occasion.

We went to The Larder as a group of five and had a very enjoyable evening. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service was good. We all enjoyed our meals with the Picanha Steak worth a particular mention as it was exceptional. Our meal came to £40 a head including two bottles of wine which we considered to... More
