Went for afternoon tea and was not disappointed, beautiful sandwiches, gorgeous cakes, good selection of teas. Will definitely be going back again to try the main menu.

Not somewhere you would notice immediately as you have to go upstairs but once you enter it gives a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was great and made decisions difficult. Would like to revisit to try more food!

We wanted to go somewhere a bit special to take my in-laws and had found this restaurant online. We managed three courses each and were delighted with every single one. The waitress helped recommend some dishes, which didn't fail to impress. Particular highlights included the ox tongue, melt in the mouth steak (the South American favoured cut) and chocolate mousse.... More

The restaurant is upstairs and you can miss it! But, once there the place has a nice atmosphere and you aren't crammed in. The staff are friendly and the food is tasteful if a little expensive. We were celebrating our daughters graduation and started with Prosecco fizz by the glass. The starters were great we had beetroot, ox tongue and... More

Came here for a post-graduation celebration last night and it did not disappoint! Despite the location being a little tricky to access (my elderly grandparents struggled a little with the stairs, and the location could be made a little clearer from street level), the food easily made up for it! Had a delicious elderflower and prosecco fizz, and chicken &... More

Visited on Trip Advisor recommendation. Being on the first floor, it is not easy to stumble upon but it's place in history makes hunting it down worthwhile although more could, perhaps, be made of it. The decor is quirky and far from plush but the welcome from the owner (Euan/Ioan?) could not have been more genuine. He is clearly someone... More

We were out for dinner with friends. This was a real find on their part. Lovely food, great wine list, staff with good knowledge of the menu and just the right level of interaction. Would definitely recommend and return.
