My wife loves this place. The food is good and it has a funky, relaxing atmosphere. The menus is a little pricey but it has the benefit of being completely vegetarian. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I love a good veggie cafe/restaurant. This place doesn't disappoint with delicious salads, burgers, falafels and pizzas plus some yummy smoothies and desserts. The vibe is great with good artwork and music. Staff are warm and welcoming. Go there!

Having been a frequent visitor to the Alley Café over the years, I am saddened t say that the last several visits have been increasingly worse each time I have gone there. Still very surprised to see the menu hasn't changed in approximately the last 7/8 years, I am all for 'if it aint broke don't fix it', but this... More

Went to the Alley cafe in Nottingham with my boyfriend and 2 friends.. all of us are vegan and we were pleasantly surprised to find that most things were vegan or could be made vegan on request. I had a coconut and almond smoothie, a hemp burger and wedges and a raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Everything was full of flavour... More

Been going to the Alley Cafe regularly for a number of years, though i haven't lived in Notts for 2 years. Always excellent food and a great atmosphere. I'm not a vegetarian but I still enjoy the food enormously and would highly recommend it to anybody. can be tricky to find a table, especially in the winter when there's no... More

First time i have been there was couple of years ago; i came back last saturday for lunch and a freedom beer with my best friend. We order some wedges potatoes and a omelette. Both of them were superb. atmosphere is very nice. People working there are very friendly. the outdoor space may not be the best in town but... More

I was having a good meal here until we noticed they use rat poison. Such a shame. I asked the guy about this (who appeared to be the owner), but he said nothing that made me feel any better. Being an animal-lover, I won't be coming back.
