Alex and his team did a great job taking care of our party of 13 for a family get together. The food was consistently good, the wine list well thought out and the service excellent. Thoroughly recommended

Meet a friend for an impromptu catch up and we chose the perfect place! Lovely setting, nice menu and delicious cake. Sensibly priced with a good range of drinks. It was a cake and coffee meet up however the menu looked very appetising. Definitely worth a visit.

We decided to celebrate our first anniversary by having a meal at the Bistro and we were certainly not disappointed! All the dishes we chose from the Specials Menu far exceeded our expectations. Both of us had exactly the same dishes - starter of duck egg with asparagus soldiers, followed by pave of venison with cherry plums, finishing off with... More

As this place is local to us we have visited 6 or 7 times and the food is consistently good. Small is often better!

Went there last week for a full English and was very pleased. Food was delicious and the restaurant itself was extremely clean and inviting. Definitely plan to visit again soon.

This is a lovely little bistro for you to try. It's on the main road in a largish village just south of Nottingham called Keyworth, famed for the excellent Indian Nights restaurant. A husband (chef) and wife (foh) team with a few occasional helpers have great ambition. Some decent menu choices, in the main well cooked and served. It might... More

We recently booked a meal here to introduce our American daughter-in-law to our family. There were 14 of us and we were served very efficiently with nobody waiting for food. We had a very relaxed evening with superb home produced food, reasonably priced. We will certainly keep it in mind for future events and meantime, I am sure will be... More

I have eaten more expensive, more exotic and more presumptuous food in many places, but I find it hard to remember anywhere else, where the food is more consistently of such a high standard as at the Keyworth Village Café & Bistro. Alex the chef/proprietor’s passion and expertise shine through on every plate… It illustrates that when a chef truly... More

I visit on a fairly regular basis & although it's normally just for a latte coffee & a bacon bap, it's always been fresh tasty & well presented. The place is spotlessly clean, well decorated & well laid out. With friendly but unintuitive staff, you are guaranteed good food & a good experience as the proudly displayed 5 star Trip... More
