We were a party of four with an international visitor keen to experience English afternoon tea. We were recommended the White Rabbit although we had a number of other choices in the City. The decor was lovely and nice authentic tea pots, cups and saucers etc. We had afternoon tea for two, sandwiches and a selection of teas, all lovely.... More

The independent cafe is small and cute, and tasteful decorated. Service was fast and friendly. The cake was very good. I will return.

Visited for the second time on a Friday afternoon with my brother and my son. We had a lovely lunch, the toasted sandwiches were very tasty, and had lots of filling! The side salad was delicious and the crisps were a good touch too. The waitress was very friendly, she asked if I would rather my son had his salad... More

Came here for some lunch with a friend, I ordered the tuna and cheese paninni and my friend had the jacket potato, both were lovely presented and tasted great with a lovely side salad. The café itself is situated in a nice quiet area and the interior is gorgeous. The only thing I would change is the seating arrangements as... More

The worst thing about White Rabbit is the wait for a table - they now have 2 venues in Nottingham, 5 min walk apart however they are ALWAYS full! Says a great deal i feel. The crockery is quaint and genuine and the smallest details are apparent, super little spoons etc. I have only had one poor experience and that... More

I was on my own and wanted to have afternoon tea. I'd been in the café a few moments when the waitress acknowledged me, but left me feeling unsure whether I had to wait to be seated or just seat myself. I waited a little while, and as I was not seated, I decided to find somewhere to sit and... More

I have now been to both the Hounds Gate and Bridlesmith Walk locations and both are absolutely lovely! On each occasion I have been with friends, we have shared a pot of tea and had a slice of cake each. My friend goes more regularly than me, with working nearby, and I know she has also enjoyed their sandwiches/savoury treats.... More

Oozing chintzy elegance, White Rabbit is a charming tearoom that serves excellent tea, coffee and tasty treats. Ideal for ladies who lunch. Get there early. It can get very busy.

My friend and I found this tearoom by accident! It's completely tucked away down a quaint back alley. The décor is adorable, very vintage even down to the little rabbit salt and pepper shakers on the tables. We had sandwiches and coffees that were delicious and served on pretty floral plates, really felt like we'd stepped back in time. The... More

We visited today (myself, my Mum and my 7 year old son) as a birthday treat for my Mum while spending the day in Nottingham. The lady serving us was polite and friendly and took time to talk to my son about the different cake flavours, much better than the grunt children often get in some places! The food was... More
