I came across this tea room by chance whilst shopping in Nottingham with my daughter and husband. We saw the sign on the main thoroughfare and were led down an alleyway to this quaint tea room. It is quite small but we were lucky as there were 2 tables free. We ordered tea from the extensive list, I had the... More

We stumbled upon the Houdsgate White Rabbit when visiting Nottingham one Tuesday afternoon. Very nice selection of teas, served in beautiful china and a lovely range of cakes. Worth a visit.

Visited the Houndsgate White Rabbit for a spot of tradional afternoon tea. Nice to see an independant cafe in a sea of bland corporate chain outlets. We had the full afternoon tea, not cheap at £25-00 but the tea was good and the cakes and sandwiches really well done. All arrived on a proper three tier cake stand and the... More

Lovely tea room in town. Christmas present of an afternoon tea for two. We so enjoyed our tea which included a super size pot of earl grey tea with pretty china cups. Choice of bread and sandwich filling. Really delicious sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and selection of four cakes all served on a china three tier... More

We visited the White Rabbit on Bridesmith Walk for a late lunch one weekday. The waitress was lovely and came and told us all the cake choices. We had some food from the specials board and this came quickly and was delicious. The portions were really reasonable for a quaint little tea house and we were impressed. We were even... More

Visited mid morning with a friend. The teahouse is situated on a quiet walkway away from the hub bub of busy Nottingham. Its quite small, and felt a little cramped. Everything is served on the most beautiful bone china, apart from my cup of coffee which was weak and lacked flavour. The food looked and smelled amazing, however the service was... More

Met a colleague at the Bridlesmith Walk teahouse, I had a lovely pot of Earl Grey and we both had a slice of the coffee and walnut cake which was gorgeous! Friendly staff too, and as it's in the arcade it's a nice quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of town. Although we were still there 10 minutes... More

We have been visiting The White Rabbit for many years and this was by far the worse visit.Quiche was lovely but half an hour is far too long to wait. No atmosphere, tables far too close together (we had to sit at side so every time someone came in they brushed past me) woman to my left, far too close,... More

I came here with my mum after she had heard good reviews about it from her friends. It was just lovely, the cafe is beautifully decorated and the food was delicious! Won't hesitate to go back again!

Went with a mate for afternoon tea and cake, had the red velvet cake and he had the lime cake, both were great. Company was great, service and atmosphere were also very good.
