When we arrived were greeted by two waiter, after the very welcoming greeting we were seated at a table close to a large mirror and a minute or two later we ordered drinks which came nice and quickly. After we ordered our food which was surprisingly fast, mind you we were spoilt for choice with more than 20 curry dishes... More

Waltzed in to here at 11pm on a Friday night with 30 people after booking for only 17. The guys didn't panic at all. I'm a serious curry head, I wouldn't usually go to a place without recommendation and finding more out about their food and veggie options. I've got a huge passion for indian cookery and well made sauces... More

We went for the Sunday buffet which at 9 pounds per person was good value. The place was surprisingly empty when we arrived and never really filled up.The choice of food is fairly limited and there was no naan bread which was poor in an Indian restaurant. The currys were good, will probably return.

Orderd a mid week take away. 70 minutes later and 4 phone calls it arrived cold. When I phoned to find out why it was taking so long I was told they were v buzy and they hung up the phone. When I called back I spoked to the management who informed me that they wasn't buzy. If I was... More

We went to Sitar for a meal on new years eve and found the service to be incredibly slow. I wouldn't have minded if it was busy but it was less than half full and on numerous occasions we had to ask the waiter to take our orders. It took over an hour to get a starter and it appeared... More

We actually ordered a takeaway and despite repeating the address and postcode and giving a phone number the food hadn't arrived two hours later, was cold, and after putting pressure on the staff I was only offered a ten percent discount. My friend was in the restaurant at the time and told me when the driver had left which they... More

We decided to go to Sitar as a last minute idea on a Thursday night. They have an offer in the week - a starter, curry, rice and a naan bread all for £9.95, I went with two other people. All the food was cooked very well and nice and fresh. Good service not hurried. All in all excellent value... More

We always get our indian takeaway from here and it is just the best takeaway we have had. The quality of the food is very high and it is great value with the deal they do for 2 curries and a rice. It is always either on time or early and the service over the phone when ordering is very... More

Visited this restaurant on 14th February. Because it was Valentines day the price was set at £15 for poppadoms and chutney, a starter, main course with rice, a nan bread, ice cream and coffee. At first I was a little out about this as I had not gone to celebrate Valentines day and would have been quite happy to just... More

This restaurant was a nice surprise. The staff are pleasant ,friendly ,and unobtrusive . The food is tasty and filling. Been back 3 times since Dec and recommended to friends. Poppadoms and a main course are enough for me . We did have shared platter once for starter which was delicious but we were stuffed by the time we finished... More
