The car parking looks a bit rough, the area - not exactly where you'd expect to find a fine dining restaurant and the building itself - hmmmmm... But La Rock is superb! Stunning food amidst peculiar antlered decor and a fine attention to detail to every dish. To be fair the service can be a bit hit-or-miss but the food... More

Very unexpected location, but lovely decor inside. We sat upstairs, we waited a while before they brought our drinks and then a while before they brought us a menu so that was a bit tedious. We had two different amuse bouche which were nice and then some bread. I had the soused sardines which were nice and a lovely combination... More

Fine dining in Nottingham at it's best. Have eaten here twice and it has been spot on both times. The venison was amazing and the fish dish my friend had was just as good. Lovely staff and good choice of menu. I am planning to take my husband again for his birthday this year.

Perhaps a Sunday roast is not the best test of a restaurant, but for certain the chef cannot cook a decent Yorkshire pudding. Pleasant staff, nice ambience but very expensive for what was served Had planned to book for dinner, but after this decided against it

This restaurant is located in Sandiacre which is a good 20 minute drive out of the city centre. It isn't necessarily where you'd expect to find a nice restaurant but from the moment we walked in we were met with friendly attentive service. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a cool contemporary vibe. The food we had was delicious... More

We arrived 15 mins earlier than we had booked yet had to wait half hour for our first drinks and it only had one other couple in at the start......once the food began to arrive it was lovely. NIce waiter who explained every dish to us. It seemed a popular restaurant for an occasion. Not cheap but lovely. We were... More

We have been trying to book a Saturday night here for months we finally went last night, Thursday< and even then it was very busy. The waitress told me I need to book 6 weeks in advance for a Saturday slot. There is no doubt that the reason for the wait is that it is a super place with excellent... More

A bit pricey but good quality food. Food took a while to come out but it was worth the wait! It was busy to be honest so understandable. Will definitely go back again soon

This place is a must for foodies! All the food is plated with absolute care and the flavour combinations are out of this world. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The building is beautiful. It's my new favourite! I feel privileged to have this restaurant on my doorstep and can't wait for my next visit.
