I went with a group of four people and had a very pleasant meal. I arrived before the others and was greeted by a smartly dressed waiter who took my coat and offered a seat and a drink at the bar whilst I was waiting for the rest of my party. I very much enjoyed my gin and tonic and... More

Myself and fiancée went here after our return from holiday after recommendations from friends. Great food, great surroundings that are excellently designed and wonderfully friendly staff. They even asked us if we were celebrating (we were) so we got a special decorative plate with mini sweets and chocolates on! The standard of food is of some michellan 1 star restaurants... More

The restaurant is close to J25 of the M1 down a side street in the town of Sandiacre, on the Derby side of Nottingham. Unpretentious minimalist decor, original nouvelle cuisine with superb presentation and imaginative combinations which hit the spot. £27 for 3 courses. Good inexpensive wine list and free sparkling water make this a bargain. Attentive service. Parking easy.... More

Five of us thoroughly enjoyed a special meal a few days ago. The ambience is very welcoming and the staff very attentive. The menu is varied (not huge) and extremely creative with a wonderful combination of tastes and textures. We chose a variety of dishes and every one was delicious. A couple of small gripes - it was very hot... More

It is very hard to get a table here. Very essential that you book, and when you taste the food you'll understand why. One of the best meals I have eaten anywhere.

I found a real gem for my first evening in Nottingham. The food here is seriously good, and the service from the professional Grace, the engaging Kerry and the delightful Daiva was excellent. I started with the obligatory glass of bubbles and then after the amuse bouche,I moved onto a delightful Papillotte of Lemon sole with crunchy stir fry and a morish... More
