Menu the same as ever, not a bad thing. But the food when served has definitely dropped a few levels. Staff and management not the same and not as good. A very tired place, which without a total revamp, will be close in the next 12 months or so. Will not return.

Never disappointed. I have been a few times and the meal is always as expected. I enjoy the atmosphere and the service, but most of all the food. My favourite Indian restaurant so far, and I have been to a good few. Saw am earlier review about Cinnamon in Stapleford so may try that next. I am a foody and... More

We visited recently with 3 friends, one from Australia. He enjoyed it so much he paid the bill for all of us. What a nice man. We all chose a variety of main courses and six starters between 5 of us, as well as papadams and mixed pickles which were provided free of charge. Great food great service and a... More

Had heard this place was good , and it was. Lots of staff floating about, opening doors, singing Happy Birthday at every table. This was probably why it worked out at over £30 a head despite not having a sweet or coffees The Tandoori Paneer Kebab was nice but nothing special for the price. Enjoyed my Achari Chicken though. Not... More

This was once one of my partners and mine favourite restaurants to visit for a comfortable night of relaxation and good food! And unfortunately, every time that we have revisited our experience has been less impressive and satisfying. The prices have become extortionate for a resteraunt that is set along side a busy dual carriageway. The portion sizes leave a... More

We had a wonderful meal here as a group of 5. The set menu is good value. Food is not cheap but it is stylish and very high quality. The highlights were the desserts and the irish coffees which were flamed with orange rind. See photo. The service was fantastic. They will also cook plain food for those who cannot... More

The restaurant is light, airy and elegantly furnished. Service is good and the staff reasonably attentive. This place does have a good reputation ,which is why we tried it. My starter of onion bhajee was OK but a little greasy and my wife had a paneer starter which was good but a little bland. For my main course I had... More

I was rather pessimistic when I went there. Being Indian and a keen lover of Indian food; on top of that having visited many Indian restaurants in the East Midlands I HAVE TO SAY this was heads and shoulders above any Indian restaurant I have been to. Starters were delicious and the mains we specifically asked to make it more... More
