We visited on a Saturday night and had an excellent meal, the menu is small but the food was well cooked and very tasty. The service was excellent and we still had table service when we stayed for the entertainment and "nightclub" element of the evening. The DJ's lugged in their music in large boxes; old school here! all vinyl,... More

I came across this place by chance when a friend was playing a gig. It is intimate and very friendly - the sort of place you could go to on your own without feeling daft. Staff are lovely and although I didn't eat, the food other people were eating loooked pretty good I have to say. There is a chalk... More

Had their hanger steak and it was quite simply the best steak I've had in years and was cooked to perfection. Great service and atmosphere. IF you don't go for food then you can always pop in later as the night time entertainment that is put on is always top stuff. Paul Mason-Smith, age 29.

The time taken for both the drinks and food to arrive was very slow. We waited around 45 minutes for breakfast in a party of 4. However when it arrived it was delicious. Amazing fresh local food

Fabulous service as always from Bradley. Great New menu and what a breakfast feast - tasty sausage and bacon with a nice touch of mixed saute potatos and chorizo, with scrambled egg, famous home made naked beans, vine Toms and particularly delicious creamy mushrooms!A breakfast within a breakfast!

Popped in to this place for the first time this weekend after hearing great things about it. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were great. Really cool music in the background reflected the staffs taste in music. The tables were mismatched and quirky which added to the charm. We were quite a large group and the staff managed to... More

I visited this cafe yesterday (Saturday lunchtime) with friends- we all travelled over 3 hours for a visit to Nottingham as we live in the north, they live in the south. We chose this cafe because of the reviews on tripadvisor, but were very unimpressed. There was limited seating, so we had to squeeze two tables together to seat us... More

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and found seats quickly. After a latte each to perk us up, we decided to order food and were not disappointed. I'm a fan of the Eggs Benedict on their menu and as always this was presented to the usual high standard. Poached eggs were on right side of runny and my partner's steak... More
