Popped in to this place for the first time this weekend after hearing great things about it. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were great. Really cool music in the background reflected the staffs taste in music. The tables were mismatched and quirky which added to the charm. We were quite a large group and the staff managed to... More

I visited this cafe yesterday (Saturday lunchtime) with friends- we all travelled over 3 hours for a visit to Nottingham as we live in the north, they live in the south. We chose this cafe because of the reviews on tripadvisor, but were very unimpressed. There was limited seating, so we had to squeeze two tables together to seat us... More

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and found seats quickly. After a latte each to perk us up, we decided to order food and were not disappointed. I'm a fan of the Eggs Benedict on their menu and as always this was presented to the usual high standard. Poached eggs were on right side of runny and my partner's steak... More

We visited last night with friends - we are mature old school chums who still love good music and unusual surroundings. The food was simply delicious - could not fault anything. My salmon steak with pea soup was divine, and the hanger steak was divine I am told! If I'm honest the only downside it the toilets. I will still... More

Gotta love this place on a Friday night! Great place to meet friends & enjoy a few drinks whilst being entertained by talented open mike singers . Later on you can be sure to enjoy a boogie too!

Called in with a friend for lunch and we both enjoyed out light meals very much. The house red was good too and as ever the service friendly and efficient. First time here for lunch and was surprised by how quiet it was on a Friday at 12.30 as the evenings can be so busy. PS It's actually in Heathcoat... More

Visited with family in the evening. Delicious food although could have done with more vegetarian choices. Great atmosphere, live music, all a bit different. Makes a lovely change from 'chain' restaurants. Maybe the toilets could do with a refurb? We really enjoyed our evening.

We visited Jam Cafe on a quiet Thursday afternoon in search of something to warm us up. We ordered two mushroom and leek soups with warm bread and couldn't have been more satisfied! The chefs were about to close the kitchen for the afternoon but were happy to serve us beyond this and opened up the kitchen especially for us.... More

Stopped for a small bite to eat with my partner. I had a pot of tea and soup of the day which was red pepper and lime. It was absolutely delightful and very reasonable in price. The cafe itself was very quirky and the staff were very pleasant. Well worth a visit even if it's just for a coffee or... More
